Great place with awesome service. We had manicotti and salad and sausage. Everything was amazing. The red sauce was amazing. The sausage was out of this world. Garlic bread was very fresh and generously covered with garlic pesto.
Atmosphere is cozy and romantic but good for casual dining as well. Music, great and not too loud. Lighting nice and dim but comfortable. We will come back again.

We found a real gem on Seminole Pratt in Loxahatchee. Even though we’ve lived in the area for over eight years, this was our first time dining here—a classic case of don’t judge a book by its cover. From the outside, it’s very humble, tucked into the corner of a shopping strip, but inside it’s charming, with a separate bar and a lovely open dining room.
The atmosphere is welcoming and versatile—perfect for families as well as couples out for dinner. Shari, our waitress, and her team were extremely attentive and an absolute pleasure throughout the evening.
We started with delicious garlic rolls, followed by excellent pasta fagioli and wedding soup. The salad with balsamic vinaigrette was fresh and tasty, and then came the entrées. My wife loved the chicken piccata with its bright lemony flavor and delicious capers. My chicken Parmesan with Alfredo noodles was equally delicious. Portions were generous, and we even had leftovers to bring home.
They also offer a nice selection of desserts. Overall, we highly recommend Il Pomodoro and can’t wait to come back—especially to try the pizza, which many people were enjoying and which looked fantastic!

I’m honestly not sure why people leave bad reviews about this restaurant. We’ve been coming here years living out in Loxahatchee and it’s one of Our favorite places to eat the people are great. The people that work there the people that own this place are really great. I mean I’ve even have have had orders that have been messed up and they have had no issues remaking it complementary. It’s a very fine establishment keep doing what you guys are doing. Keep producing great quality Italian food. Some of the best food I’ve ever had is from this place !!

I review restaurants all over the United States and the World while traveling for business. Every now and then I find something I refer to as a Hidden Gem. Turns out this Hidden Gem is in my backyard.. Yesterday we had our first time visit to IL Pompdoro and it was fantastic. My wife got the Chicken Francese which was hot fresh and a generous portion with plenty of lemon flavor for once. My kids split a large Pepperoni Pizza which I ate some of and it was fantastic. I personally ordered a Italian Sausage and Peppers Hot Sub which was also very very good. I had a side Caesar Salad as well which was also perfectly in line with what you would expect out of a good Caesar Salad. One of my other kids had Fettuccine Alfredo and Broccoli which was also great. I took a risk and got a Cannoli at the end. I’m weird about Cannolis, because most of them are flimsy or completely overcooked. This one was done perfectly and the Cannoli Cream had a fantastic flavor. All the wait staff was very very friendly. I did notice that it’s time for a fresh coat of paint on their bathrooms. Not a big deal, because I’m certain they have to do that at least once a year based on the amount of traffic I saw go through the restaurant while I was there. It was BUSY!! Usually a sign of a pretty darn good restaurant. This makes my Hidden Gem list. 10/10
