We pride ourselves on creating a warm atmosphere to complement the food, with first class service and attention to detail. We went for Valentine’s Day lunch (not our first visit) and it was absolutely amazing! The food was wonderful, definitely worth the price, and the staff were as always super friendly and attentive. The restaurant ambience was quiet with relaxing music and we had a table in a nice spot by ourselves. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be going again in a few months for a date night!

Nightmare Man
This restaurant is a true gem in the area. We found them by chance and gave them a try tonight(Thursday 20th November 2025). To say it exceeded expectations is putting it lightly. You usually dont find Italian food of this quality outside of big cities. Everything we had was a 10 out of 10. The staff were all so welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere is amazing. Possibly the best restaurant we’ve been to in the whole of the West Midlands. Already planning our next visit!

Was very much looking forward to eating here as reviews were really good. However, majorly disappointed and won’t return. Worst Italian food we have ever had. I ordered a garlic pizza bread which was overcooked and the cheese was dry, then had a carbonara that was stodgy and pasta was dry, my husband had the veal which was dry and overcooked too. Only thing good about this place was the cocktails and even they weren’t great. I didn’t even eat half of my food and it cost us 120 quid. Don’t bother wasting your money.

I have been to this restaurant 4 times in the last month. It is amazing.
Service is second to none. Even though its always very busy, including birthday parties, the food quality is perfect and so is the service. The drink service is very efficient too. Even if you want a drink/cocktail not on the menu they still do it for you.

Second time here, both times absolutely amazing, great and friendly staff, delicious and high quality food, clean and welcoming. The meatballs are well seasoned, with a beautiful tomato sauce to go with it, steaks are very nice and always perfectly cooked. The sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake to die for. Definitely recommend.
(Also sorry for the last tip, it was supposed to be rounded up by £6 and not 6p… will be added for next time)

I dont like to give negative reviews but im honest! After seeing so many good reviews from this resturant, why wouldn’t I want to book? Well in my opinion I wouldn’t bother unless your local & cant travel! This restaurant is over priced for very mediocre food! Upon arrival we were offered no bread etc, ok I get that! We decided on going straight to mains, I ordered tagaletti pasta with chicken & bacon etc, Mom in law lamb shank & partner went for the lobster & crab meat pasta..we thought a garlic bread half & half on the side, plus a bottle of wine!
Wow were we disappointed firstly the “lobster & crab” pasta was not meat, it was a paste inside two large ravioli pasta, more like a starter & for £21 is a disgrace as it specified lobster & crab MEAT! My pasta was cooked hard, I wasnt asked if I wanted al dente pasta but its what I got! My mother in law had what id call a lamb shank from aldis frozen produce plopped on top of smash swimming in bisto! The garlic bread which we had was a shock, unless you eat within serving would break your teeth! All in all very dissatisfied! Maybe we made the wrong menu choices as ive seen so many good reviews, but unfortunately we did not have a good experience. I wouldn’t recommend. I’d love to hopefully get a response from the resturant as I have seen they only like to respond to positive feedback!

Ten of us had simple meal one dish and a beer
Wonderful food best cheese ever tasted in a lasagna and pizza heavy filling flavoursome just right
Except for no sides included all extra which thought was a bit cheeky
Salad chips everything all extra cost nothing on your plate except the dish you ordered
No bread on table to start
Got some tap water out of them a free sweet at end but that was all.
Service a bit rough quick and rushed like we were on conveyor belt and needed us out
Very brist arrival and disappearance of the waiters , liked a joke but not really just wanted you to spend more eat up shut up and move on . Not easy atmosphere little tense like time was important to them , no question of quality of food but maybe just rattled cus no starter deserts coffee or second pint from anyone, but I thought customer was god , but he isn’t here ,he is second class

I had lunch at Il Michelangelo yesterday with my sister and my mom, and it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish.
It was our first visit and we were genuinely blown away – the service was friendly, attentive and welcoming without being overbearing, and the food was simply fabulous. Everything was beautifully cooked, full of flavour, and clearly made with real care.
It felt like one of those rare places where you relax the moment you sit down and just enjoy the whole experience. We all left saying the same thing: we’ll definitely be back.
