Il Mee Korean Restaurant is the REAL deal. You’ve got Korean aunties in the kitchen, and you can taste the love. The mandu is handmade, and the filling is beef n veggies seasoned to perfection. Their bulgogi is absolutely top-tier! … savory perfection. And don’t even get me started on all the banchan… yassss We ate every bit SOoo Good! Go get y’all some of this goodness.

My family has been dining here for more than 15 years. Great food throughout the years but service seems to be getting worse.

We’ve been taking out the food more often to eat at home recently and whenever we ask for more side dishes (when we are always dining with a family of 4-5) and also ordering portions for 4-5 people, they always get agitated when we ask for more side dishes and just give us 1 plate worth that 2 people can easily finish. We even always make sure to tip on takeout orders.

If the owner is reading, I would appreciate if you could be more understanding about how much people we are trying to feed when we take out for 4-5 people. We are loyal customers.

The bul go go….. Oh, man! SO freaking delicious! Served on a hot cast iron skillet so it creates this flavorbomb fond. Comes with little dishes of “I don’t know what” that are nice complements to the dish. I really like their bimimbap, too!

HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
This place is located in a corner or small parking lot in upper section of Cobb parkway.
The layout of 2 section‌, authentic Korean seating area and regular table and chairs.
Service is true 5 star, food presentation, flavor, temperature is 1000% on point.
We truly enjoyed our dinner and we will be back with friends and family

Delicious Korean food! The bulgogi is seasoned perfectly. We also had the hot stone bibimbap, rice was crispy and very tasty. The cucumber kimchi is our favorite!

I always order the Bi Bim Bop. I keep coming back to this place because the meat is consistently flavorful and well-marinated. The lunch prices are quite reasonable, and the serving sizes are ample. The only issue I’ve encountered is with the service. There’s one very pleasant woman and one rather irritable older woman. Whenever I dine here, I often feel like a bother, which makes the experience a little uncomfortable.

Had lunch here on a weekend. The unassuming exterior and location slightly conceals a cozy and clean dining interior of this restaurant. Entered the restaurant and noticed it was busy and about ⅔ capacity. Our group was greeted and then escorted to our table immediately. The one waitress who took our order in the beginning was the only issue we encountered with the overall service. We had a question about one of the dish and she did give an answer in a rude manner as to her not knowing what’s in one of the dish and that “the cook in the kitchen knows”. We also had service from the other two waitresses, who were friendlier and more attentive. Banchan that was served with our meals were delicious and a decent variety, but felt like it was less quantity than expected. One in our group had the japchae and stated that it was ok and nothing to rave about. Another had the soondubu-jjigae and said it was good (maybe needed more flavor), but it was very filling. I had the yeomso tang, which was very delicious and filling. Good variety of traditional Korean dishes available here. Although, when I did ask the waitress, she said they don’t offer jjajangmyeon or jjampong. Their weekday lunch deal seems very appealing. If I’m nearby during weekday lunch, I’d stop by and try different meals. I do like the section of the restaurant with traditional Korean style family dining tables; very charming. Ample parking available in the parking lot.

One of our favorite places in the area. Authentic Korean flavors here. We’ve tried almost everything on the menu without a disappointment.
Plus, James and dining hall staff provide great services.
Naeng-myun and Gahl-bi, the taste of summer ~

We were in the mood for Korean and found this place off the beaten path. Although the decor is simplistic inside, it was still very inviting. Plus, they were blasting 80s music, which is always awesome! We ordered the flounder, the goat stew, beef ribs, scallion and seafood pancake and the chilled beef soup. I was looking forward to the sides, but when I saw how they looked compared to other places I’ve tried, it was a slight let down. Not bad, but I’ve had better. The scallion and seafood pancake was more soggy than I would have liked. I prefer my pancake to have a bit of texture, but this one didn’t have any. The flavor wasn’t bad, but adding that slightly crispy element would have helped this. I really enjoyed my goat stew. I thought it needed just a dash of salt, but other than that, it was good with the perilla seeds. My parents enjoyed the beef ribs because that was the only plate that was empty! The flounder wasn’t bad, and could have used a bit more scallion. The dish I really enjoyed for the night was the chilled beef soup. That broth was excellent! Plus when eaten with the pickled radish, beef slices and cucumbers, it really made for a delicious bite. Not bad food and a cute spot, but not a place I would go out of my way for.

It’s like you walk in and you’re transported to a Korean Mother’s home. Such a beautiful and cozy space with a strong traditional feel. Wonderful service! Very kind and attentive. We ordered their Blood sausage which is a MUST when you come here. Absolutely delicious. Their array of banchan tasted homemade and very fresh. It paired perfectly with their Galbi which was well marinated and seasoned, soybean paste stew which was warm and hearty, and yellow fish! Their yellow fish was meaty and didn’t taste fishy at all. Their space was very clean, and their bathrooms were as well. You have a view of the kitchen as you walk to the restroom, and it was perfectly clean and tidy! Absolutely wonderful experience!!
