The food portions are huge and everything is delicious. I love their chicken francese, its very flavorful and the mashed potatoes are very good. The service is quick and friendly. Quiet place and good for a quick fresh italian dinner. Loved their tiramisu, cannolis, and tartufo!

We visited Il Forno in Raritan for a recent party gathering and it was a positive experience. The modern decor and spacious, clean location were definite pluses. I liked the semi-private corner with a large glass wall, which effectively separated our large group from other diners. The service was also commendable. While the wood-fired cheese pizza and margarita were decent, they could have used a bit more flavor. Overall, though, it was a good experience.

We went to DeLucia’s Brick Oven Pizza in Raritan, but there was a wait of over an hour and the staff taking orders seemed uninterested in serving. So we walked a few minutes to IL Forno e Lena instead.
We ordered the pesto, veggie and chicken pizzas and they were all very delicious. The staff was polite and courteous, and the service was great. We will definitely be going back many more times.

Cozy place , nice for a date with your loved one, love that Italian music in the background (huge plus!) although didn’t notice Italian cooks or presence in the staff they were very polite, but let’s get to the food! Not bad at all! Reasonably priced , the menu it’s a bit confusing but didn’t hesitate to ask for clarification and respectfully given, def a place to go at least once a year.

We popped in to Il Forno, having been there several times before. We were greeted by new staff and apparently new owners. We were fans of the old place but were pleasantly surprised by the service and food. Wait staff was attentive and nice. Food was above average, the price is still lower than most Italian places of the same ilk, and we had a good all around experience. Would recommend if in Raritan.

The only negative part was they don’t have coffee for after dinner.
