The day I called to ask if we could see the accommodations menu ect for our mother’s repast this place has been hands down like family.
They showed us around the gorgeous venue. Shared every detail. And stated whatever we needed they shall do.
Fast forward to a very difficult day. The whole staff was welcoming. The restaurant was so beautifully decorated with Christmas. Anything we asked was beyond delivered without hesitation.
It made a difficult day very easy.
Thank you for the delicious generous portioned food, friendly and accommodating staff ect. Cannot say enough great things about this beautiful place and staff.
Our guests couldn’t stop telling us how great this place is!! Thank you again.

The company I work for has an annual Christmas party here. The place is super clean, and well maintained. The servers and bartenders are very helpful and accommodating. Although, I didn’t use the bar upstairs it did look very upscale with the right mood lighting. No loud music, just a lot of class. Thank you for having such a beautiful business!

i was in NJ for the weekend and had a late dinner on Fri night with friends, the food and drinks were delicious and prepared well. i had veal piccata with some shared appetizers. our host/server/bartender Jovana was wonder woman super hero with a feisty humorous personality. we enjoyed it so much we went back Sat night with 2 more friends and ate in the dining room with jovana’s sister serving us another wonderful meal. i had the lobster ravioli. BLUF: Food sucks and manager doesn’t care enough.
One of the worst Italian food I have had in a while. Thought there would be good Italian food here in Jersey but I guess I went to the wrong one. The calamari and Caesar salad was not bad but the pastas were not good a single bit. The linguine noodles were still not cooked and a bit hard. The clams were like a salt bomb. The ravioli was very grainy but the red sauce was pretty good! Felt like the same quality from Costco Kirkland brand microwaving type.
For the most part the servers were great and helpful. Yes we were a bit louder than other guests we apologize for that
One of the customers there at the restaurant for some reason started pressing my friend and I at the bathroom asking us if we’re here for the party in a very aggressive tone. We told him we’re not here for the party and just here for dinner but the guy was like “u didn’t answer my question”. My friend felt disrespected so we explained that we’re from California and if he had a problem with that. After that the guy walked up to us and said “u tryna press me right now?”. I don’t think we were in the wrong here, just tryna use the restroom but guy pressing us for being at a restaurant. Whether there was a racial motive or not, that’s totally not okay for some random stranger to press people in the restroom and asking us if we’re here for the party. It wasn’t even in a friendly tone. I get that 4 Asians dudes eating at a local Italian restaurant in Woodbridge can be bit offsetting but u don’t gotta be all investigative in the restroom when we just tryna piss and wash our hands and go back to enjoying our time together with friends.
Additionally the manager was so non chalant about our feedback to them when we told them that we didn’t start anything.. terrible terrible..

This place has a very friendly atmosphere, the service was great, there is ample parking both out front and there’s a parking lot in the back that is free. Castello’s is very clean, a little dim which i liked, it makes for a more intimate dinner. I had the crab stuffed mushrooms which were delicious but I feel as though they could have used a little more crab, we also had the garlic shrimp sauce in wine, butter and garlic. The shrimp were definitely a hit as well. Our entrees were lobster ravioli which again could have used more lobster and my mom had the veal Marsala which she also loved. They also have a fully sit down bar and outdoor dining as well. With all this being said we had a very nice time here and I would definitely go back.

We enjoyed a fine meal at Il Castello’s in Woodbridge. I recommend the veal franchise, which was very tender and prepared perfectly.

We live in the neighborhood and were craving Italian, so we decided to walk over instead of driving elsewhere. We came in excited, but the experience immediately felt off. The person we assume was the manager looked us up and down, didn’t greet us, and immediately asked if we had a reservation. When we said no and asked if there were any openings, he briefly walked away, came right back, and told us they were fully booked. After leaving, I called the restaurant and was told there was an opening at 8pm which directly contradicted what we were told in person. The inconsistency, lack of basic hospitality, and the way we were treated made us feel uncomfortable and racially profiled. Based on this experience alone, we wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Had a business dinner with clients here. Everything that was served was amazing.. I especially enjoyed the fried calamari, pepper shrimp, the chicken and eggplant dish I ordered and definitely the molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream.

I attended a 50th wedding anniversary luncheon on October 25th at Il Castello.
The food was amazing, and the service was top notch and professional.
Calamari, eggplant rotalini, shrimp, pasta course, salad, and entrees all cooked perfectly (except for steak temps for a couple) cooked, and seasoned.
It’s a shame I do not live anywhere near this restaurant because I would go back again and again.

I think that this is one of the best resturants in the area and definitely the best Italian sit down resturant in the area!
