This has quickly become our local spot we frequent once a month or so. They have great service, a relaxing and inviting atmosphere, creative drinks, and excellent food for the whole family, from my 3.5 year old, to my wife and my particular dietary preferences.

Had such a wonderful experience here recently. Nicole, who was tending bar and serving, was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the entire meal. She made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. It really made the evening feel special. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Cute restaurant in a cute street in Belmont. I loved the ambience and the restaurant was pretty busy for a weekday night. The menu was classic Italian American and definitely on the more expensive side. I had the a la vodka pasta which wasn’t very good to be honest – lacked depth, flavor, and tasted a little bland. Someone else at my table had the pesto which was good. Their brussel sprouts on their apps menu was classic. Wouldn’t get the artichoke app as it was a very small portion and didn’t taste very special.

Dining with friends at il Casale was splendid and the food delicious. I opted for a salad and asked for a side order of the, Tufoli Al Pomodoro. Yes, we can do that. It was a perfect meal combo!!

The restaurant is super cozy and has a great design. The bar looks inviting and I’d love to return to try the drinks here. The espresso martinis looked delicious! We tried the Chicken Parmesan, Nonna’s Meatballs, and the pomodoro with gnocchi (which was a gluten free option) all as a takeout order. They were all tasty though they felt a bit on the pricy side. The meatballs were definitely our favorite. The chicken parm doesn’t come with pasta but the size is very generous.

Santiago at the bar was fantastic! He was so friendly and made us feel really welcome from the moment we sat down. The whole experience was just lovely, and he really added to that. Definitely coming back!

Super delicious food! Authentic Italian food, portions are large and service is so good and fast! Kids had spaghetti with tomato sauce and they enjoyed every bite. The salad was so delicious and fresh with toasted nuts and olive oil. All food had the strong taste of Italian olive oil. I liked that I can order main course half potion!
They have many vegetarian and vegan options, and One of their chicken plates is Halal.

Shockingly bad food and in particular because it’s so expensive. I ordered the veal ragu special and it was anything but special. The pasta was cold and undercooked (and I like very al dente pasta). The “ragu” was flavorless and included chunks of overly firm canned tomatoes. My son ordered the Calabrian shrimp with fusili, which was decent — but not for $32!? Not my first time to Il Casale and my previous experiences have been positive. I will not be going back — a basic Bostonish Italian American restaurant would do better.
