Hubbie said this is the best Italian meal he’s ever had! He ordered the seafood with red sauce and penne (which was homemade). I ordered the chicken with lemon which was delicious! The mozzarella caprese was the best I’ve ever had. All around fabulous restaurant with great service and fantastic food!

What a gem! We finally made it to IL Buongustaio last night for a double date and had an amazing experience. Our server was Chad – he was attentive and very helpful! We ordered Cesar salad for appetizer which was simple but very delicious. We tried some of the Salumi charcuterie board our friends ordered – simply delicious. Chad brought out fresh bread (just out the oven fresh) and rosemary infused olive oil before our entrees came out. We ordered the Halibut special and Spaghetti Allo Scoglio (Spaghetti sautéed with fresh seafood tomato sauce – mussels, clams, calamari, shrimp, & scallops). Everything was so fresh, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. We ended the night with some delicious tiramisu. We’ll definitely be going back to try everything else on the menu! *chefs kiss*

Absolutely recommend this restaurant! From start to finish, we had an excellent experience. The atmosphere, the staff and the food were all exceptional! We couldn’t decide on our entrees because there were so many incredible options to choose from, so we asked our server to ask the chef to make us his favorite dishes and we were not disappointed. Will absolutely be back again in the near future!

A friend and I were dog sitting for my daughter and had no intentions of dining in anywhere during our visit. We both wanted Italian and headed to google to find a restaurant nearby. After reading the reviews we knew we wanted to try this establishment. It did not disappoint. I was concerned how the service was going to be since we were a little underdressed compared to other patrons when we arrived. We were provided with the most friendly and courteous service by the staff. The food was excellent. I will definitely return.

Delicious food, very nice and friendly servers. Be aware you have to wait a little while for the food because every dish is prepared fresh but it was worth waiting for!

Wonderful meal from start to finish for a special family celebration. The mixed charcuterie board and the duck confit pâté blew me away and brought a tear to my eye. It was all so good and then came the house made tiramisu which was exquisite. Chef Alex is running a great restaurant with great staff and service. I highly recommend this restaurant and will most certainly be back!
