It was a really yummy patio experience for our family of four. Gluten free olive focaccia, caprese salad, artichokes, pork medallions with potatoes, and a traditional italian almond cake!

I have multiple severe food allergies and these wonderful people went ABOVE AND BEYOND to accommodate a dinner for me! I’m used to only receiving lettuce and bringing my own dressing on the rare occasion I have to eat out, but as you can see in the photos, the dishes they provided were of the highest quality and creation. I will certainly be coming here again when I travel through Grand Junction. Thank you for giving a weary traveler a wonderful meal!

It has been several years since I have eaten here and having recently moved back to the area, I decided on take out this evening. The food is just as I remembered- homemade, authentic Italian comfort food. The packaging maintained the heat and held up. The Rosetta was spectacular- fresh pasta and rosemary ham rolled up with cheese and smothered in a delicious tomato cream sauce. Hubs had the Pasta Affumicata- homemade sausage, fresh spinach and mushrooms in a garlic cream sauce. Highly recommend the sbrisolona and chocolate decadence cake. Delicious.

After a long day of hiking, we enjoyed a tasty meal at Il Bistro. I liked the atmosphere in the restaurant. It was an open space with big plants and had good lighting. I loved my food. The minestrone was flavorful and my raviolis were light and delicious.

Went for my wife’s birthday and we absolutely loved it. The fresh bread, stuffed dates and lobster ravioli were all incredible, but the rolled pasta (specifically the Rosetta) was a revelation in the realm of pasta consumption. It was the perfect date night.

Attentive, informed wait staff, objective recommendations, wines of many varieties, and finally real robust Italian recipes to savor. Highly rated, so I’m not the first to have a great experience here at il Bistro Italiano. We split our salad and main course since it was later in the evening for us and we just wanted quality, robust food.

The food is prepared with skill and knowledge, the atmosphere is nice and casual, and our waiter was delightful. We split the caprese appetizer, tried the artichoke parmesan soup, and ossobuco.

I had the mushroom risotto in a parmesan cheese bowl. Oh my goodness, delicious! My husband had the Rosetta and that was just amazing. We’ve already been telling everyone about it. Thank you for a truly wonderful meal.

The service was fantastic and friendly. The chef was very accommodating to my friends special dietary needs. I had the risotto and omg wow it was awesome. The only criticism I have is that the portions were huge! They could have easily cut them in half and it still would have been more than enough. In my opinion the prices reflect the amazing food and service, well worth it.

Delicious food and great service! They make their pasta in house, and you can tell! The menu is constantly changing, and I got the gnocchi pesto. It was good, but there was a little too much parmesan on it for my taste. (However this is a personal preference). My husband got the Rosetta, which was a pasta with ham, cheese, and a creamy, spicy sauce. He loved it! Overall a great experience, and if we are ever in town again, we will definitely be back!
