However, Service could’ve been better. I asked this one waiter to suggest a non spicy chicken dish, and he said there ain’t any. Whereas, the menu clearly had Butter Chicken and Kali Mirch chicken which weren’t spicy. And this was the same waiter too, who was a little arrogant. However, it wasn’t that big of a deal for me.
Talking about the atmosphere. The music was too loud, and it also wasn’t classical Punjabi music. I literally got a headache because of that music. However, the theme of this restaurant, like the guns in the frames, the lamps, the walls, and also he aroma around was just wow
Presentation of food and drinks deserve full marks including the cutlery.
Food taste is satisfactory nothing extraordinary, portion seems to be small compared to the pricing. They do give variety of chutneys and onion as complimentary.
Service is satisfactory.
Though expensive, if one can afford, the eatery can be tried once if around.
1. Tandoori chicken prepared in desi ghee (Chicken pieces are very soft and juicy)
2. Dal makhani with butter naan (01 Naan is sufficient for 2 peoples)
3. Jalebi nd Gulab Jamun (Big Size)
I recently dined at Ikk Panjab in Rajouri Garden and had a mixed experience. The atmosphere and service were commendable, creating a pleasant dining environment. However, the food left much to be desired.
I ordered the Mutton Raan, which unfortunately arrived half-cooked and lacked flavor. Despite bringing this to the staff’s attention, I received excuses rather than a solution. Only when they realized I was a food blogger did they offer to rectify it, but by then, it was too late. Other items, like the Mutton Soup and other mutton dishes, were average at best.
While I appreciate the good service and nice atmosphere, the food quality needs significant improvement. Overall, my experience was rather disappointing.
