It is rare that i provide a 5 star review but this one warrants it. Although the tables could use a fresh clean wipe more often as they felt sticky but this experience hit the spot.
I ordered the “Papa Sam” salmon sandwich and my husband ordered “the MJ” meatball sandwich.
Let me break it down: if you are a regular then the menu is an easy thing. If you are an occasional you may still be able to make it through the maze if the menu but if you are a rare visitor like myself, it can take up to 10-15 trying to find something that hits the right spot.
I am a fish lover and my husband meat ball lover. I don’t say this lightly but it was the best sandwiches hands down. The fish was perfectly cooked with enough moisture as you know fish can be dry. The dutch bread pair with swiss and lettuce was a perfect combination. Im told they switched yo new meatballs and my husband is in love. The size, the moisture was perfect ratio to his sourdough bread.
Highly impressed and satisfied customer here, would drive the extra hour for these sandwiches. Love it!

Ike’s Love & Sandwiches at 212 F St St B in Davis is such an awesome spot! Plenty of street parking and the place has a super upbeat vibe with lots of positive energy ✨ . I had the Meatless Mike on Dutch Crunch bread – and wow, the bread was so delicious, perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside! The sandwich was packed with fresh ingredients and the famous Bomb Sauce took it to the next level – so tasty and full of flavor! The service was fast and friendly , the prices were very reasonable , and it wasn’t too crowded which made the experience even better. I also saw so many fun and unique items on their menu that I can’t wait to try next . Definitely coming back soon – highly recommend checking this place out!

Absolutely love this place. Came here with my wife. I had the meatball sandwich and she had a salmon sandwich. The meatball sandwich was amazing. Lots of meat, the balls were huge. Perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Service was awesome as well.

Best sandwich place in Davis! Of course if you like making a hot roast sandwich they make it with good portions and it’s fresh! Staff is great and friendly. The establishment is clean and organized. Walking distance from boutique shops and just a fun place to have lunch with friends. Highly recommended!

Best sandwich I’ve had in a long time!! I got the Matt Cain sandwich and my husband ordered the Yolo sandwich. Both amazing! Fresh bread, excellent quality meat and their house sauce (dirty sauce) is so so good! We’ll definitely be back

Location & Environment: The location is in a fine part of Davis, though not in the center. Accessibility is not an issue at all. The environment is okay, with some decorations and style in the building, but ultimately the atmosphere felt cold and still.
Service: The service staff were quick on their feet and made the sandwiches quickly without compromising quality. They were also kind enough to allow the party of a couple including me to move two tables together.
Food: The sandwiches were great! The bread was of high quality, packed with many ingredients (varies by the variety of sandwiches offered) and great sauce(s—once again dependent on the sandwich), to create a symphony of flavors. Will 100% return just because of the juicy, yummy sandwiches.
Generally, Ike’s Sandwiches was a pretty good place, though besides the food, the experience might be more mediocre.

The sandwich was good. I got the Madison Bumgarner with added red onions and jalapenos. Sandwich tasted better than it looked. Was disappointed in how it looked really rushed and thrown together granted they did seem to have quite a line of people and only two people working so have to cut them some slack for that. Besides that the flavors worked well together and I enjoyed it. Will be back in the future to try another one of their sandwiches.

I love IKE’s sandwiches!! Lots of variety sandwiches veg and non vegetarian. I had veggie sandwich it was amazing taste. Cashier and gentlemen I think Jorden so nice and welcoming and they prepared quickly! It’s in Davis little far away from me Napa but soon I will back and highly recommend must try!!

The young lady with short hair was very kind and upbeat. She listened to the different amounts of ingredients I wanted and adjusted as I requested. The sandwich was sooo good, their chicken with ranch is delicious! She gave a great greeting when I came in and when I was leaving she made sure to thank me and told me she hopes to see me soon. Super sweet. It’s so hard to get good service like that at fast food places!
