First off, the flavor is excellent and actually surprisingly unique compared to most sandwich shops. I really enjoyed my meal for the most part, but loses a star for portions being less than adequate for what’s inside the rolls — especially the grilled cheese I ordered. Disappointing portions, but excellent flavor. I will give it another shot sometime, but I expect a sandwich to fill me up more next time. Btw, doordash totally messed up the delivery very late and cold (not Ike’s fault) and got some credit back from DoorDash.

Ike’s in Reno!! Let’s Goo! Ordered two sandwiches tonight and got one for free and some chicken tenders. The order came complete and fresh. The sandwiches were as good as they ever have been and there is an extra for tomorrow. As a long time Ike’s patron, I can say that the love is in these sandwiches at this location. I’ve been going to this location for a few months. This was the first not perfect experience I had, but I’m still giving it five stars. The quality is top rate, the cleanliness is evident, and the staff are super friendly. The reason I throw any shade is because I ordered the Madison Bumgarner for the first time which claims to have habanero. I even requested to add jalapeños craving something spicy. No jalapeños. No habanero. No spice whatsoever… but that doesn’t change the fact that this is a great sandwich place. I will go back to my usual next time which is the Paul Reuben. I would never leave a negative review because a busy employee forgot one thing. Service industry is hard enough.

My bread was over toasted it was so hard to chew.
Short staffed , only one person on sandwiches.
My hot sandwich was cold when I got it.
Pepperoni also overcooked somehow and crunchy.
Sorry to say I got hate and sandwich today.

Amazing sandwich and an even better crew! It was a pick between this and the canes next door so we decided to try something new and Ike’s definitely did not disappoint! A huge selection of sandwiches and a all star crew any company should be proud of.

Looked like a very cool spot and had a ton of vegan options, but when I got home, I realized that my sandwich was completely missing the vegan meatloaf it was supposed to have. I could get a sandwich with veggies and sauce at any sandwich shop in town for cheaper. First, and last, time coming here!

Had the Steak and Going home for Thanksgiving sandwiches. Ordered both with EXTRA sauce, got none on either. The steak meat was SO DRY like the meat had been sitting around and dried out. I was glad I had something to put on it at home. NOT what I would expect from $60 dollar order (with delivery and tip). Sandwhiches with the extra meat and cheeses(which I don’t think I got extra cheese on the steak) were over $40 for both. Have had better sandwiches there before and given the price they should be better than others, but they weren’t.

Large variety of subs, local names and the Dutch crunch bread was divine! We showed up on game night at UNR so the bathrooms were in bad shape. But the staff was friendly and patient with everyone.
