It’s a decent sandwich. Being a first time customer their menu is huge and very confusing. Look online first so you don’t get rushed into a sandwich. They give you a free lollipop. Can’t go wrong with that.

I had been looking forward to going to Ike’s for months since I first heard about their Dutch crunch bread and how delicious it is. I was finally in the neighborhood two weeks ago and they were out of Dutch crunch, so no sandwich for me. On today’s visit, they had Dutch crunch! Except it wasn’t crunchy. It was sugary, but not crunchy. Not only that, but the sandwich itself was flavorless. I ordered their version of an Italian and the most flavorful thing on it was the onion. Their Dirty Sauce sounds fun, but it wasn’t even as good as regular mayo. No hint of Italian dressing and the salami was bland. Such a bummer.

I ordered the time traveler’s wife, which clearly states vegan chicken… yet my sandwich had lettuce, tomato, cheese and what looks like mushrooms. After driving almost 45 minutes to and from Lakewood this is absolutely unacceptable. I’ve been to many Ike’s locations in the Bay Area and I know what this is suppose to be and it’s definitely not vegan chicken with orange sauce. You guys literally left out the MAIN INGREDIENT!!! For the record I was order 173 on April 8.

Best sandwich place, I have ever had. Tony Lam my friend who recommended me here, I ordered the Matt Cain! It’s was very interesting and new. Very flavorful, delicious, the service and atmosphere on point. Micah was very helpful with the menu options and also very nice. I had a sandwich here and it was underwhelming, mostly bread a not much substance. I wanted to give it another try so I came back and the employee saw me come in, continued to text, I was there for at least 2 minutes while she was on her phone. She finally came to the register and didn’t say a single word to me for a solid minute as I was looking at the very long and confusing menu. It was just a bad experience so I left without ordering a second time.

All of their sandwiches come with “dirty sauce” I’ve asked for sandwiches without it in the past, but they still manage to put it on there most times. One time I asked for mayo and was told by the person at the register they didn’t have mayo even though I was looking over her shoulder at a huge jar of it. Their sandwiches are good, but the prices are also pretty high as well. It’s like a 6-8 inch sandwich for 13-14 dollars.

Been going here for a few months now and it never disappoints! The dirty sauce is amazing, all their sandwiches are so good, and staff is very friendly! Highly recommend if you like hot sandwiches. Also I love that they give a lollipop with every sandwich!

I tried to pick up a takeout order prior to closing time, and was greeted by some younger employees that only seemed to have one concern, and that was to see how quickly they could close the store. Why say you’ll be open until 8 if you’re not going to honor those hours? Poor customer service.

Tried this place for the first time, had a Da Vinci. The sandwich was delicious, and the dirty sauce nice and garlicky. The sandwiches are huge, so be hungry, be prepared to take half home, or share with someone! Will definitely be back, there is a large selection of sandwiches.
