Why am I just learning about Ike’s now?? This place is legit. They boast a great menu of a variety of seafood options and do not disappoint. I’ve tried many delicious things off of the menu, but the crab cakes, house made potato chips, and house made sauces definitely elevate the dining experience here.
My wife grabbed some take out and took it to the beach which is now an experience I can’t wait to recreate. Just need to watch out for the seagulls!

Ike’s is an authentic spot with friendly and speedy service. And that crab cake sandwich….. My, was that good. Light and flavorful with the perfext ratio of crab to filler. Their potato chips were excellent as well and their sauces hit the spot. Although you pay for it, this is a must-do if you are nearby.

Update: I couldn’t get the horseradish sauce out of my mind, so we went back to get a jar and decided to order the chips with Crab dip (around $16). The chips and bacon were plentiful, but the crab dip was sparingly drizzled over the chips – nothing like the amount you get for the pretzel.

With a group that doesn’t normally finish everything, yet our baskets were all emptied here. Delicious. (Though my uncle said the crab cakes weren’t the same as he remembers)
I personally fell in love with their horseradish sauce. Used it on everything (pretzel, crabcakes, and their homemade chips)
Only 2 downs. First, a good portion of our chips came out soggy/moist. 2nd, my 10 year old ordered the poke bowl expecting to receive chips and coleslaw because it’s under a category in the menu that says it comes with those. If I could have given 6 stars for service, I would have. He asked our server about the chips, and she at first said it didn’t come with them, but came back with a side of chips saying she understood how he thought it did.

The crab cakes were phenomenal and just like everyone says – hardly any filler. I have no idea why they didn’t fall apart. The “chips” were a wonderful surprise; we call them ribbon fries in Colorado and they were done to perfection. My only hesitation was the soft shell crabs as they were panko breaded which I like them in just a simple flour so the crab really comes through, but they are beautifully done. I ordered a sandwich with one of each so I could taste both and just deconstructed it to enjoy all the flavors on their own, but I bet together it would have been pure heaven. The sauces were amazing as well – especially the poblano sauce that came with the fish nuggets. Definitely worth a visit!

The location and the staff are what make this a great establishment. Oh, and also probably those sauces… I had the crabcake and it was an OK crabcake nothing fantastic but to be honest, I am not a huge crabcake fan… But I figure when in Rome…

We love Ike’s as we’re not far from Ocean City, we make trips down here just to eat without even going on the beach! We’ve also purchased some of their sauces to bring home and use on our cooking!

We had grilled shrimp with crab cakes and it was amazing. The shrimps are huge and the crab cake was delicious. Don’t worry if you don’t have enough cash because they accept credit cards for orders more than $10

I love getting the old bay grilled shrimp dinner with a salad instead of the chips. Enough grilled shrimp that you actually feel full afterwards. (I actually got this twice while we were there because it was so good and a nice healthy choice alternative to boardwalk food!) But then we end up getting an appetizer of the fresh chips anyway because they are just so delicious! Love all their sauces they have as well! I have also had their crab cakes which are delicious as well. I will often get the crab cake sandwich that comes with chips and Cole slaw and just take it off the bun to eat as just a crab cake instead of paying for the crab cake dinner that comes with 2 crab cakes. I don’t always eat as much in the heat, so this works perfectly for me.
