The classic meatballs with cranberry sauce were amazing. you really can’t go wrong with that.
What kept this from being a five star experience was the service. When I placed my order, the employee tried to charge me for 16 meatballs even though I had ordered 12. When I pointed it out, she corrected it, but her attitude felt off. no apology, just a look like she was annoyed. It’s not a big deal, but a little professionalism and friendliness would go a long way, especially when you’re dealing with customers face to face.
Aside from that, the place is organized and the food is solid. This review is strictly for the restaurant, not IKEA as a whole.

I’m all for trying something new! Pulled up to Ikea’s Swedish Restaurant for a new experience. I got the plant balls with mashed potatoes, peas, chocolate cake and Langlur. The plant balls, cake, and Langlur was decent. Wasn’t a huge fan of the peas and mashed potatoes. But I had fun shopping after!
Have you been to Ikea’s Swedish Restaurant before?

It’s like eating in a hospital cafeteria. It used to be much better. I know anybody swedish would never eat there. Ever. It is what it is. Just bring good company for three stars. And probably just eat somewhere else…

My dining experience at IKEA Restaurant was mixed. I had heard great things about their meatballs, but I was disappointed to find that they didn’t live up to the hype. They were bland and overcooked, and the gravy was watery.
On the other hand, the salmon Stockholm salad was delicious. It was served on Mixed Greens with Marinated Salmon
For dessert, we had the Swedish apple cake. Nothing special about it.
I also ordered a cup of coffee, which was average.
Overall, my dining experience at IKEA Restaurant was mixed. The meatballs were disappointing, but the Stockholm salad were excellent. The Swedish apple cake was okay, but not special. The coffee was average.
If you’re looking for a quick and affordable meal, then IKEA Restaurant is a good option. However, if you’re looking for a special dining experience, then you’re better off going elsewhere.

I came here 8 pm to eat and do shopping. Restaurant is out if Salmon and many other.. Somebody is sweeping and spraying the tables..
The point is they are still open. They should operate as it is open.
It is not nice someone is dusting and spraying here. They need to wait to close to do cleanup. Restaurant should have all the food available to feed the people who comes here.
I paid for the coffee there is no coffee available there. Ridiculous…

Food is quality is about the same as McDonald’s, but you can no longer pick what sides you want with the main dish. They are often out of Lingonberry Juice and the sodas have an excessive amount of bubbles.
Service is about what you’d expect from overworked minimum wage laborers, dining area can get a little messy during peak hours (not enough cleaning staff) but is otherwise nice enough with plenty of seating.

Food is good and very reasonably priced. However, cashier moves very slow and warm food is served on a cold plate. So food is Luke warm at best by the time you are sitting down at the table. Would be nice if food is kept warmer, serve on a warm plate, perhaps a cover to improve dining experience.

I love going to Ikea. I always find some inexpensive doodad that I needed. Best of all is a visit to their cafeteria style restaurant located on the second floor. On this occasion we came over after a visit to nearby Flamingo Gardens. My daughter and I both got the stuffed chicken breast with mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes. The chicken was stuffed with a sweet cheese and cranberries. It was delicious. We also got a side of another favorite, the vegetable medallions. For desert we had the rich chocolate cake. Dinner for the two of us with drinks, extra sides, and a shared dessert was $24. A bargain to not have to cook dinner. In the past we have had the ribs and the stalwart staple, Swedish meatballs. I have never had anything I didn’t like here. At certain times of the year they have a special smorgasbord for a fixed price. I have never made it to one because I live somewhat far from the store but they look delicious. Ikea family members get free coffee in the cafe. You can sign up at a kiosk downstairs. Also certain times during the year the store will have a special promotion where if you spend a certain amount in the store they give you a free meal in the cafe. Events and promotions are located on their local store website.

Was there yesterday. Their meatballs are overcooked, lingonberry juice is way too deluded tastes like water. Over all I’m not impressed.
