An absolute must-visit! Ike & Oak Brewing is totally worth the drive from the city — or anywhere in the Chicago area. The brewery itself is gorgeous: huge bar, tons of open seating, a great outdoor space, and TVs everywhere for catching the game.

Beer-wise, the Cold Hill and Tipsy Koala were standouts — especially that Tipsy Koala, seriously outstanding. But the food stole the show. The Pizza “knot” was spectacular (and the small order was plenty), while the Yardbird sandwich was chef’s kiss perfection, especially with the truffle hot sauce.

To top it all off, the apple cinnamon cookie with ice cream was incredible — like an apple crumble dream.

Can’t recommend Ike & Oak enough. 100% will be back soon!

Went here for the first time. Loved the story behind the name.
They have a nice variety of craft beers, which we enjoy.
We had the classic giant pretzel, for the appetizer, which was was soft and tasty.
My wife had the double brat patty burger on a pretzel bun. She said it was juicy and tasted good. I had the grilled sausage plate. I loved it. The only complaint I would have is the sauerkraut was dry.
Our server was Kurt. He was friendly, helpful and attentive. Because of him, we will come back after the holidays.

The live music was the best part tonight! He as very good: Bobby Knutek. He sang a lot of old 70-80s favorites. We had the Mango Bear-I-Cane $11. Cocktail and it was a bit watery. The bread pudding was very dry so we had to order a 2nd scoop of ice cream which they charged $3 for so the total was $13. The ambience is very nice w shuffleboard, TVs everywhere, high chairs, indoor and outdoor seating, and free parking.

Ike & Oak Brewing Company is hands down one of the best spots in the area. The beer selection is fantastic—from smooth stouts and porters to crisp IPAs, there’s something for everyone. You can tell everything is brewed with intention and quality.

The food absolutely matches the beer. The Detroit and Napoli-style pizzas are unreal—perfectly cooked, great crust, loaded with flavor. The Yardbird sandwich and cheese curds are also must-orders. Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully made.
The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, whether you’re there with friends, family, or just grabbing a drink at the bar. The staff is friendly and attentive and genuinely makes you feel taken care of.

Great beer, great food, great vibe. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

After going to see a movie at the theater near by we were hungry for some dinner. Kids are picky as kids can be, but we wanted to go somewhere we haven’t been to and I pushed for here. We are all glad that we did too! Ashley was our server and she was awesome! Super chill and super knowledgeable with the different beers. We were talking about things that I like in my beers and what I don’t. I had one or two in mind but I told her to just surprise me. She ended up coming with a few little sips of different ones and in the end I went for one I wasn’t even looking at which ended up being Ol’ Trigger. Loved the beer! Did wise we cannot complain at all… kids meals were a cheese pizza and a cheese burger, and then my wife and I split a Ruben and one of their specials which was the double brat smash burger with a side of the beer cheese soup. The meal in whole was fantastic… the atmosphere was chill with food vibes, and service with Ashley was just great! We will for sure come back here again! Thanks for a great meal!

It hits all the right marks for a nice night out that you can put on repeat. Nice selection, each menu item is treated with care, local brew culture to keep things fresh, simple but nice no frill vines. The Mac and cheese is a favorite along with their Detroit style pizzas. Service has been consistently attentive. Best part for me is that the pricing is fair. Nothing is “cheap” but you don’t feel robbed after you are done.

My husband and I encountered mixed reviews, but we decided to experience it for ourselves. It offers a very casual and quiet bar atmosphere. We chose to sit at the bar, and the bartender did not introduce herself and walked away quickly when we ordered anything. We mentioned that it was our first visit and inquired about popular items, to which she simply replied, “everything.” She appeared somewhat displeased with serving customers at the bar, while engaging in lively conversation with her friends who were seated beside us.
The cheese curds, nachos and Yardbird sandwich were excellent. However, the pretzel knot was dry and lacked flavor. The drinks, though, were quite delicious.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to Ike & Oak, I went in the other night & had my first Oak Fashioned by the bartender Sydney. Such a great atmosphere & vibe. She was very engaging, knowledgeable & friendly. Definitely coming back soon on a night she’s working & bringing the crew with me.

We Just got home from a quick dinner and once again the service was the win! Our bartender was the best. My husband had a pizza and loved every bite.
Mine was not as good as before but I ate what I could and opted to add fries since I didn’t plan on finishing it. After the fries came out he noticed I didn’t eat my original dish and immediately picked up on the problem and took the dish to talk to whomever needed to know. (I’m not trashing the dish because it’s normally awesome, must have been an off night). The Cajun fries always rock so I was happy.
The fact that the bartender took it upon himself to ask and react quickly to issues far makes up for an off night in the kitchen. This is quickly becoming a new fav of ours!
