After a trip to Lake Tahoe I was in need of some food where I was craving for some Korean barbecue. I did my research and this place came up where it was nearby and looks good. I instantly knew I had to give it a try. Upon arrival, I came by a little before dinner and was seated immediately. I was greeted by their friendly staffs and asked what I would like to drink. They offer a la carte or all you can eat where you can choose up to four meats per a time. Also appetizers , small side dishes, soups and drinks are also included for the all you can order. And they have a few dishes that are only available during dinner time and of course I had to get them. My orders arrived to my table very quickly each time which was extra points. The grill they use is the metal circular pan style for easy change out. The food and service was great thank to their very welcoming, well trained and understanding staffs where I did not encounter an issue during my visit. As time went by, the place filled up and lines began to form. I am happy I arrived early and got to eat right away. I highly recommend this place to all Korean barbecue enthusiasts, if you need a quick bit me just like me or to anyone willing to try something new. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

Ijji 4 offers AYCE Korean BBQ in Reno, but the price has noticeably increased over the past few years—from $35.95 to $42.95 per person at night. While it’s definitely on the higher end, the restaurant does provide a more upscale dining environment, with stylish décor and even a fancy bar area stocked with wine options.
One thing to note: AYCE requires at least two diners, so as a solo guest, I had to sit at the bar and order from the à la carte menu. I went with the Stone Pot Bibimbap, a mix of vegetables, beef bulgogi, and an over-easy egg served over rice in a sizzling hot stone bowl. While the crispy scorched rice from the pot was a nice touch, I found that even after mixing everything together, the flavors of the veggies, beef, and rice still felt somewhat separate. The sauce provided was on the salty side, leaving me reaching for water throughout the meal.
The complimentary appetizers were a highlight, and to finish, they serve a free ice cream dessert. I tried the green tea flavor—delicious, but the scoop was small and left me wanting more.
Overall, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is perfect for groups looking for a fancier K-BBQ night out. For solo diners, the experience is more limited.

I decided to check out this place after seeing a mix of reviews, but unfortunately, I left feeling pretty underwhelmed. While I didn’t expect fine dining, I definitely expected more than what I pay for.
First, the LA Galbi–what a letdown. Given the hype and the one-order-per-person rule, I thought it would be the standout dish. Sadly, it fell flat. The meat was bland and lacked the rich, caramelized flavors you’d expect from a good LA Galbi. There wasn’t even that distinctive charred aroma or flavor that comes with properly searing the meat. It was honestly a forgettable experience.
The only dish that somewhat redeemed the meal was the plain shrimp, which was surprisingly good. They kept it simple, just adding a pinch of salt, shrimps were fresh, and the natural aroma really came through. Still, one decent dish couldn’t make up for the overall disappointment.
Another weird thing I noticed–this is the first restaurant I’ve been to that doesn’t have high chairs for kids. That’s a pretty basic thing, especially for a family-friendly spot.
On the bright side, the service was great. The two waitresses who served us were super friendly and attentive, which did help make the experience a little more enjoyable.
Overall, I can’t say I’d recommend this place based on the food alone. It didn’t live up to expectations, and it’s not a place I’ll be coming back.

This place is our absolute favorite! We have been coming here for over 10 years and the people they have working here have always been the best!!! The service and food quality is always unbeatable but tonight, man, I just had to write a review! It’s Valentine’s Day, we expected a wait, there was one to be seated but not terrible, we waited maybe 20-25 mins. But the rest of the dinner was just amazing! I figured we would be waiting a while in between service checks on us but NOPE! Isaiah was our server and he checked on us just as much as any other night! We never waited for our new meat orders or water. 10/10! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Such a fun and delicious dining experience. The grill-at-your-table setup makes the whole meal interactive, and the meat was super fresh and flavorful. Everything was well-seasoned, and the side dishes were just as tasty. The service was friendly and fast, and it never felt rushed even though it was busy. I ordered a stone pot and it was absolutely amazing. My spouse ordered seafood soup and loved his as well. The also have the BBQ that you cook yourself. We will definitely be back to try that. Very clean and extremely nice staff.
