The hype is real. Been hearing about this place for years and finally got the opportunity to try it, I’ll be back ASAP. Had the chicken and lamb over rice And it was absolutely incredible. Wonderfully tender meat and impeccably aromatic rice. The dare you sauce is absolutely excellent, It’s enough heat for a spice lord like myself to feel it but it’s well balanced and flavorful so that it’s actually enjoyable. I only wish I found myself in uptown more often so I could hit it up more frequently.

I ate the Combo Gyro with both sauces three days in a row for lunch on a work trip because it was absolutely divine, priced right, super fast, and conveniently located to where I was working. The spice and flavor was so good.
Only downside, and this is not on the food cart at all, is that the outdoor seating area in that plaza is windy as hell and it’s hard to keep hold of your napkins and such unless you get a dollar soda to hold them down to the table.

The worst service ever. 1st they over charged us. I ordered falafel over rice $7.99. End up paying $10 & some change. I asked why it was so high, they replied because you used a card. Then when I checked my food, the falafel where smashed. The food tasted old; especially the falafel. They told me they cooked them a hour ago. And said they don’t have any more to cook. However, he did offer another choice but mister I want vegetables. Anyway he told us he couldn’t print a recipe nor could he refund our money because we used a card. This was the worst and I DONT RECOMMEND THEM. My whole plate was old food sitting on a slow Monday night.

Cheap, delicious, a lot of food and open very late night. What more can you want?!
Location is prime too. Would totally recommend the combo plate with chicken and lamb over rice with the white special sauce and add a drizzle of the spicy sauce. The falafel were delicious too. Would recommend if you are looking for a late night munchy or a cheap meal.

Very rude staff. We ordered chicken over rice and chicken gyro . We don’t eat red meat due to religious reasons. The chicken did not feel like chicken . When we asked them if they gave us the correct order the guy in the yellow hoodie and a beanie started arguing with me . Would give 0 if possible

Updated: They charge a $1 fee for all credit card transactions (over 10% if you are just ordering a standard combo and drink) and do not mention this to you. I’M VERY UPSET WITH MY ORDER TODAY! I ordered lamb and 3. Chicken & Lamb Combo with extra rice and got a a tiny portion of rice with chicken. They had rice and chicken on the bottom then sauce on top then another serving of chicken on top. It’s very obvious that this restaurant took a order that was sitting there a longgggg time and just topped it with chicken and served it to me. Or perhaps it was left overs that they topped with chicken. The food was slimy like something that is spoiled and the falafel also tasted slimy like it been sitting out all day and got spoilt. This is a major health violation for customers. I don’t trust this restaurant and will be calling the health department tomorrow to report this issue. To top it of, they gave diet coke instead of the coke I ordered.

The food is always amazing and the service is great. The orders are ready very quickly. Unfortunately, when I ordered a vegetarian meal with falafel, I found some meat in my food. It looks like chicken. Anyone who seriously wants to avoid meat should probably tell the staff so that they can try to prepare the food separately.
