If there was an option to leave 0 stars, that is the rating I would leave. Even my one star gives them a better rating than they deserve. Didn’t even eat here because the service we got upon coming in was horrible. We just left there 2/15/2026 at 11:30ish. My daughter walked in to ask for a table of 10 and a high chair to be laughed at by someone in the kitchen and then the hostess telling her “no”. When I walked in the girl reiterated that they could not accommodate us. I asked what the wait time would be. She could not answer and then her co-worker said “it would depend on when tables would clear. Maybe 15 minutes.” Well, 15 minutes isn’t that long. I think a better answer if they didn’t want to work and feed a party of 10 would be, “Sure, we can accommodate you, it will be an hour.” That would be a better answer, not make you look unprofessional and lazy. I welcome a call from management. It’s been a while since we have eaten there and the service used to be good and friendly. Not sure when they got this bad, but first this is not the way Cajun hospitality is shown and second it’s Mardi Gras season and we have lots of people visiting, which drives our economy. If you don’t like your job or don’t want to work, find another place to work. You have that freedom to do so. It’s okay we went somewhere more friendly that will take our money. Hello Country Store, they know a little something about Southern Hospitality!

Would’ve been 5 stars. Could’ve been. But why would a waitress seat a family in the booth directly behind me when we were the only ones in that section? I wouldn’t have minded, but the place was practically empty. Had a nice 1st half of breakfast. Then bye bye quiet breakfast. I still love your food IHOP, I forgive you.

Once again. Extra crappy service from another Lafayette restaurant. I’m starting to think it’s a game to these people to get your orders wrong on purpose. I made a door dash order for country fried steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans. I received two chicken patties, no mashed potatoes, and no utensils. Who are they hiring at these restaurants??? Is reading still taught in schools???

Our little waiter was such a sport, and even said we made his night, by leaving a $15 tip. As a Dasher myself, I know exactly what tips mean, when counting every penny. I’ve only received very few substantial tips, in over 6K deliveries, so I felt that. Service was impeccable! And the food was on point.

This place is absolutely filthy. The waitress was extremely quiet and pessimistic the entire time we were there. We were say immediately, nobody else was there, but it took forever to have our waitress come back to give refills or even check to make sure everything was good. Once we had finished our food, the check was brought and we told the waitress we were not ready. Wo then proceeded to wait around 40 mins for our waitress to come back for us to pay, but she never did. Eventually, we looked around for her and caught her sitting on the other side of the restaurant playing on her phone, blatantly ignoring us. One of her coworkers saw us standing and called her over to pay. Then when I handed her two cards to use for payment, she repeatedly attempted to charge one of the cards multiple times after money had already been taken out of it. Food was good, but service here is terrible. Decided to come here instead of waffle house, NEVER again will I do this. Also bathrooms felt like ones that would be in a truck stop. Disgusting.

The food was really good sirloin tip recommend big steak omelette really good and the t-bone was well seasoned but the service was horrible the waitress didn’t ask how we were didn’t say hi just sat us down and said what can I get you guys started with she seemed annoyed and mad she was annoyed when I asked a simple question pretty sure her name was Jessica b she left my buddy with no drink for 5 minutes and looked at the empty cup twice didn’t ask if we were doing okay assumed we were done and brought our bill with the ugliest face when I was putting the cash down she said that’s it didn’t give me time to tip just said that’s it and walked away gave me my change back I’m a server too and tip 20-40 but with that service and face expressions I just left the change 1$ I never felt so disrespected while going out to eat and we found a hair in the food but didn’t complain about that service and atmosphere with a person like that serving you is just horrible she was on her phone most of the time

The food was cold and OJsnd milk were hot. As far the service the waitress can to our table eating something in her mouth and as I was paying she asked for a tip. I have been to IHOP before and the food and service was amazing but today’s meal was something else and the price was outrageous $48+ for two. IHOP #1915 and her name and number is Crystal C #0163740

The service is terrible, the food is cold, the place is dirty. I ordered a crepe with strawberries and they charged me the full amount and then informed me that they didn’t have any strawberries. The employee had a very bad attitude at all times. I won’t go back nor recommend it.

Not enough employees at night. They are always short staffed and have an excess wait time even though your order was placed hours ago and is ready for pickup. Definitely do not recommend

I recently went on December 19th, 2025 with a group of 4. The waiter I believe his name was “Trenton” had a black humble jacket on, he was not tentative to his table and he had a smart remark about everything we asked him for. He didn’t offer any refills nor did he give us his name or anything. He didn’t introduce his self at all. Food was amazing but service was TRASH.
