Well, just about everything was good at IHOP except for when we first walked in. I asked for a larger booth, the hostess walked us past a row of small booths, turned the corner and seated us at a small booth in the next row. If you order any meal, you’ll get a couple of plates, then water and drink and you have no room. The floor hadn’t been swept for awhile, would have been easy to push the floor sweeper down the aisles. Our waitress was excellent, but the cooks… I ordered the Coffee Cake pancake combo; no filling between pancakes and incredibly dry, required lots of syrup. Otherwise bacon, eggs, pumpkin pancakes, all good. The waitress’s service was excellent, so I changed my overall 3 stars to 4. I’ve eaten at this IHOP several times, this one time won’t prevent future return trips.

Denise was our server, she was absolutely wonderful!! She deserves best employee reward. She was friendly, personable and even engaged with my children which I appreciate, all while she was incredibly busy she still made time to make sure our table was taken care of and we did not feel rushed. We did not have to wait very long to be seated and the gal who seated us who I believe may be the manager was great. Service was amazing and we will be back! Food was also great but the service stood out the most for us.

Eric C made sure we had a phenomenal experience. The cook tonight was on her game and our food was on point. We came when kids eat free so that is a bonus for any family. We enjoy coming to this location and this was by far our best experience. See ya next time!

Denise is by far the best asset to this ihop location. I have enjoyed the years coming here and being waited on by her. When I come back next and if she’s the winner of the competition (wouldn’t be surprised) and the prize is a pizza party, I’ll be livid. Thanks to Denise and ihop west center.
