Stopped in normal one but customers in dining room. Only one person covering dining room. Taking orders busing tables taking money. Should have drove to mineshaft. Fish was hot fries warm. Seasoning was none existent

I took my family out to brunch at the Ihop in Fond Du Lac and we were met with a wonderful server named Abby. The restaurant had been experiencing some technical difficulty and this caused operations to slow down however Abby conducted herself extremely well. She pushed through and served not only my family but many others with a smile and strong perseverance to get the job done. I believe she is the definition of a strong and accomplished individual in the workplace and I hope that Ihop will recognize the efforts she puts into making Ihop a wonderful and warm place to gather with family and friends. honorable mention to the GM of Ihop in Fond Du Lac as well as she was working along side her staff and was very kind and checked on us and had a wonderful interaction with my little baby girl. I believe her leadership is what helps motivate individuals like Abby to be their best. Great work to the both you. I hope to see you again next time.

We stopped in at 1:15 p.m. on a Thursday–a reasonable lunch time–but NO ONE was in sight to seat us, take our order, cook our food, or serve us. The lights were on, music playing, but the place was empty–no customers, and NO STAFF! We waited at least 5 minutes, talking loudly enough so someone paying attention could hear us, but no one showed up. Every other restaurant around this IHOP was FULL–but this lot was empty. I wonder if that was because there were other customers like us, who went somewhere else to have lunch?

Stopped in this morning and was seated right away. After 20 minutes nobody stopped by to take our drink order let alone our food order. And it’s not like they were busy. Left and went to Rolling Meadows. I should not even be forced to give a 1 star to write this. There should be a no star option.

My wife and I stopped by for lunch yesterday afternoon. When we entered the restaurant, there was no one in sight–no waitress or waiter, no hostess or host–nobody. The place was deserted. We called out and got no answer. I considered calling the police (in case an employee was dead or unconscious), but decided against it. At any rate, we went somewhere else for lunch. So IHOP loses another customer.
Addendum: Looking at the owner’s reseponse, I see that it is word-for-word the same boo-hoo-sorry message that everyone here has gotten. (Compare the reponse to mine with the response to Robert, the next name on the list.) I have already contacted corporate about this.

Waitress was friendly and came to the table often. Food was good, filling and cooked correctly. We would’ve preferred to sit spaced out rather than clumped together with everyone else though. Very loud children nearby.

No customer service. Walked in and didn’t see an employee for 2 minutes. Seemed that there was only one person working at dinner on a Thursday night. She also glared at us once she did come out to give a table drinks. We left as did another couple that had been waiting longer. Will never go again.

Had Philly steak and cheese it was like a half a slice of cheese the meat was dry I asked for some aujus didn’t have any. Person with me had a big steak omelette she asked for some salsa they gave her something that looked more like ketchup. Waitress was very nice.Won’t be going back there .

Walked in at 955am on a saturday, after 45 min, we asked about our food only to find out it was going to be 20 more minutes. Somehow they justified this wait by saying other tickets were 40 molin behind. Wasn’t even that crowded. Ended up having to eat breakfast at a gas station. Lesson learned.

$62 for a breakfast that looked better than it tasted. Omelette barely filled, pancakes drowned in sauce, sides all extra, and no toast. Overpriced, underwhelming, and not worth a return trip.
