This is my experience after one visit to this location. We arrived with a party of 7 as my daughter wanted pancakes for her birthday lunch. We had to wait for a table to be put together for us which is fine but, just FYI, this location isn’t going to be great for parties larger than 4. After being seated, the waiter came and took our order as normal and our drinks came about 10 min later. From there, we waited 50 minutes for our food. We saw other parties arrive, be seated, get their food, and leave before we got our food. Over this time, our waiter checked in on drinks once but otherwise visibly avoided us. No update on our food or anything. For reference, we just ordered pancakes and some burgers. Nothing that takes longer to make. When our food came, the waiter did not offer an apology or anything to make the situation right. Shortly there after, our $115 bill was delivered. In addition, the bathrooms were not clean or heated. Maybe there had staffing issues. Maybe it was just incompetence. I’m not sure because of the lack of communication.

We arrived there around 6:30 or so on valentines, we walk in and get seated. We noticed before even getting seated that the cook was standing in the kitchen doing absolutely nothing. The waitress, Amanda, walked up to the table and told us she was the only server so it might take her a little bit longer, which we were completely fine with. We ordered two oreo milkshakes and our food. She takes the order and says she will be right back with the milkshakes. We received our food before the drinks. When she brought the food, we reminded her about the milkshakes and told her we needed silverware. She told us she was going to grab us silverware and take an order for another table before bringing us the milkshakes. We had mentioned the milkshakes two other times prior to this as well. She brought us plastic silverware and said she would be right back with the milkshakes. We ate our food with no beverage, and she still never brought the milkshakes. Mind you, by the time she brought the silverware, the food was cold. At this point, we were just over it. We walked up to the counter after finishing our food and asked for the bill. As we got up there, she remembered she owed us two milkshakes. We told her to just take it off of the bill, and she offered to give us a free drink. We declined because we were already so disappointed. We paid for the meal and as we were signing the receipt, she still asked for a tip. I completely understand being the only server, but we had reminded her 4 times about milkshakes, and we never even received water. we also received plastic silverware when every other table had metal silverware. We will not be returning

Are here early Sunday morning. I love the variety of food options here. It was my first time. I thought they only served pancakes, but it ranges all the way to steak and hamburgers as well.
I ordered T-bone steak and the big steak omelet and the chocolate pancake. The T-bone steak itself was ok as it was too thin and not medium rare as I request it. The omelet was good and the chocolate pancakes good. There was not much to say about the atmosphere as there wasn’t much people there and it was awkwardly silent as there was no music on.

Food was horrible didn’t know that they used powdered eggs. The service started good but as soon as we got our food we never saw the server again! She was too busy on her phone talking to someone. We got up went to the register and she was still on the phone. Told her the food was horrible and she only took $3 off then we saw black mold on the ceiling and all the dust we were grossed out. Very disappointing. If you have time to be sitting on your phone in the back seating area you have time to clean. Ooh and we were the only customers in there so there was no excuse for any of that.

Would have made a huge difference.. IF.. the waitress had actually followed through on anything she said.. even in a somewhat timely fashion.

Refills (we were happy to receive those at least vs the promised mini-pot to just leave at the table for us to refill as needed).. promised but took multiple times checking on us and recalling

Solution.. Suggestion.. possibly anyway……
On FREE Pancake Day .. the other waitress – I’ll call her this.. as she ordered this younger gal around constantly (eg take this to that table, take this over there, chit-chat) … Maybe… Just maybe .. take in the entire picture, consider the increase in business (we were there after 1p) .. and realize this waitress is probably forgetting things partially due to your interruptions of requests.. aka your .. “laziness”? Or.. I might be amiss if you have a disability, to which if that’s the case, then truly I apologize and the waitress was overwhelmed.. and.. get her additional assistance.
I feel I’ve complained enough.
The waitress requires training on priorities regardless. She will be absolutely fantastic in this position afterwards.. her amile, kindness and attitude.. those are hers.. keep her, train her, and your store will make money.
Her personal qualities earned her the 20% tip. Unfortunately, due to either her lack of training and/or the other woman using her non-stop.. she missed out on my typical crazy tipping style.
I did not mention any of this while there.. maybe this will get their attention.. as the man there (and I’m pretty sure.. the possibly titled “lazy” woman) .. has been there a long time. Be kind to the waitress.. her potential.. her qualities.. are worth keeping her. No such thoughts towards the other woman.. and.. if you have no disability.. how rude to do this to the only waitress there on a very busy day (and as a formerly morbidly obese woman.. if your weight is an issue at work.. that’s on you. You’re costing the biz money.. probably in tirn around of waitstaff.).
Ugh.. I apologize for being direct .. I usually take my efforts towards leaving exceptionally great reviews.
I’ll visit again.. IHOP off East Washington.. and I look forward to seeing the improvements .. and I do hope to have the opportunity to tip that young, gorgeous (this comes from my mom side, she was just really well put together.. showed she cared about detail and asthetics.. but couldn’t carry through to her job.. for whatever reason), and polite lady… a tip worth being great at your job.. no matter what job you have. ;p

Angelo is one of the greatest servers i’ve had. Dude was so positive, funny, and he knew the menu inside out. I’m from illinois, and was here on a roadtrip, however I would drive all the way back just for Angelo to serve me again. Made my experience a 10/10. If you ever go, I would ask for him to serve you!

The wait was too long. We initially arrived and were taken to a tiny booth but we couldn’t fit unfortunately. And we aren’t extremely heavy people just the booth was dollhouse size.
The other section was closed, only one section open. After that we sat for a long time before deciding to go somewhere else. It was really noisy inside and it seemed like all of the staff was overworked and burnt out. They need more staff.

Unfortunately I ordered Sirloin Tips & Eggs no mushrooms and definitely got mushrooms. I usually wouldn’t complain but it was the service here that left me no choice.
First thing that rubbed me the wrong way was how long I had to wait to be acknowledged upon arrival, being that the dining room was basically empty..
Secondly.. AFTER placing my order, at least 5 minutes later (I specifically asked my waitress to ensure my order would have NO MUSHROOMS) it took her and extra 20 minutes to actual send it back to be cooked.
Lastly… 45 minutes later when she brought my food, the waitress told me she made sure my order had (NO MUSHROOMS) and sent me on my way. When I finally got home and opened my food, I was EXTREMELY disappointed when I seen what other than MUSHROOMS.
