It’s always clean and everyone is very professional and polite. My server (Corey) never gets our order wrong and always suggest different options. All the servers are willing to help each other out so noone has to wait. A very pleasant environment.

The food wasn’t that bad, but it definitely didn’t look like it did on the menu. The strawberry milkshake was so good . The strawberry cheesecake pancakes were good but a little soggy. Still, it’s a bit pricey for something that looked more Temu than menu.

I was in town shopping with two of my kids, and since my oldest absolutely loves IHOP, we stopped in on our way home. The whole staff was so polite and greeted us with genuine smiles. Two of the employees were especially sweet — they were completely charmed by my 5-month-old because he kept smiling at everyone who talked to him.
Our server was attentive and helpful, and the food was great. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience, and we’ll definitely be stopping by again.

We had gone to Tuscaloosa for a “weekend getaway” and chose to stay at the Springhill Suites. Just down the road was the IHOP which the Manager at the Hotel recommended saying that the IHOP was under New Management and had been renovated.
We were seated quickly, the occupancy was about 20%, and Brandy came to provide us the service at our table.
She was WoNdErFuL!¡!¡ Caring compassionate, helpful, professional… One of the best servers we’ve come across in a while!
Food was ok, but nothing in comparison to Brandy’s service!

Not sure if every ihop is like this but this one has a call center in the Philippines for take out orders and I was on the phone for 15 min with them just to be told I have to come in to place my order.. they couldn’t add 1 pancake to my order, tried to call kitchen told me they weren’t answering then make you pay over phone just to tell me “card isn’t working” after frustration I drove to ihop placed the same order with added pancake with same card and waited in an empty ihop.. Take out service is garbage and is not set up for customers but uneeded convenience. I could understand if it was a busy Saturday or something but this just lazy

My husband and I visited the Tuscaloosa ihop for the first time superbowl Sunday 2026. My husband ordered the beef tips. They were precooked hard pieces of something resembling meat. I ordered a omelette it was just ok. We ordered blueberry pancakes. Cold and hard. Resembling frozen pancakes from Walmart. Just heated them up. Bill over 50 and food was inedible

We stopped by the IHOP in Tuscaloosa on a very busy Sunday morning and were lucky enough to have Laura M. as our server. Despite the rush, she immediately made us feel right at home. She greeted us with a warm smile, was attentive without being overbearing, and treated us like family from start to finish.
Laura made sure our food came out just the way we ordered it, kept our table spotless, and even made the best cold brew coffee I’ve ever had at a restaurant — it was perfect! She managed everything with such kindness and efficiency that it completely elevated our experience. The food was spectacular, I love the strawberry banana pancakes.
If you’re coming to IHOP Tuscaloosa, ask for Laura M. She’s truly a gem and the kind of server who makes you want to come back again and again.

Haven’t been in a long time. So was very excited to go. Was informed there was a 15 min wait. That turned into 45min to an hour. Got seated but was put next to two big family eating with kids. Which normally wouldn’t be a problem if the whole place was full but there was a whole corner of tables that had nobody over there. Would much rather been sat over there. Food was great. Came out in a timely fashion, so that’s a plus. Very tasty as always. Even learned that they have take out or pick up. Which I didn’t know! Very happy to learn. Overall good experience. Plan to be back.
