While visiting family in Lauderdale Lakes, I decided to try this IHOP’s highly rated Avocado Toast, served with hash browns, roasted cherry tomatoes, and scrambled eggs, to compare it with versions I’ve had at other IHOP locations. For dessert, I had two pancakes topped with cream and blueberries, and I was not disappointed—it was definitely one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Despite a busy morning, mostly due to tourists grabbing a quick bite before boarding their Caribbean cruises, the four servers and two chefs managed the rush exceptionally well. The men’s restroom was clean and well maintained, and there was ample parking available.

Alexis was our server. And she did a great job of taking care of my Health concerns. I newly found out that I had allergies that I wasn’t aware of and I had to learn how to eat a new way. She spoke to the Cook and told me what my options were and I was so pleased! My father and I ate from the breakfast menu and had great options and suggestions personalized from Alexis. I would suggest this location and particularly Alexis as your server. Thank you!

I was served by Shery, and her service was incredible — super kind, attentive, and always with a smile. I tried the classic American breakfast, and I was absolutely delighted! Lenora was my server and she did just that! Very pleasant and accommodating. My food, however; was prepared by James and …. This is the second time that he has prepared my meal and he hits it on the mark every time! I had the steak tips and eggs and it was cooked perfectly. It was buttery and so flavorful. I usually don’t eat everything on my plate in one sitting, but today, I had to make an exception. This is why I come to this particular location.

If you go to IHOP and don’t ask for Lenora, you’re doing it wrong. Lenora is hands down the best waitress I’ve ever had. She moves like she’s got a sixth sense for refills, keeps everything organized even when it’s packed, and somehow manages to make every table feel like they’re her only one. My coffee never sits empty, my order is always right, and she remembers the little things, which says a lot. What really sets her apart though? Her energy! She’s warm, funny without trying too hard, and genuinely cares that you’re having a good experience. That kind of service can’t be trained, that’s just who she is. IHOP is lucky to have her. If customer service had a gold medal, Lenora would already have a collection.
