Long-standing chain serving a wide variety of pancakes & other American breakfast & diner fare.

We arrived around 10:00 AM and were seated right away, but everything after that was a disaster. The waitress said she would be right back, but it took about 20 minutes just to take our drink order. By that time we had already looked over the menu and placed our food order as well.
After ordering, we waited over an hour for our food, and during that entire time the waitress never came back to check on us, give us an update, or offer drink refills even though our drinks were almost empty.
When the food finally came out, multiple items were missing. My meal and my partner’s meal were missing items, and our friend never even got his pancakes. He finished the rest of his meal while still waiting. About 30 minutes after we finished eating, they told him the pancakes still hadn’t even been made yet, so we asked them to remove it from the bill. The waitress even seemed irritated about it.
To make things worse, the restaurant was extremely dirty. The table they sat us at was sticky and clearly not cleaned, there was trash all over the floor, and the bathroom was disgusting and smelled horrible.
We also noticed we weren’t the only ones dealing with this. There were several other tables waiting for service, and some people who arrived before us were still waiting for their food even after we finally received ours.
Overall, terrible service, extremely long wait times, missing food, and a very dirty restaurant. This was easily one of the worst IHOP experiences I’ve ever had. If I Could give them negative stars I would

Today was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at this location. This morning, I arrived at 11:08 am for breakfast and requested to be seated at the booth near the window, where I noticed tension between the waiters; I overheard them saying, “he requested to be seated there”.They didn’t give it much thought, assuming the waitresses were figuring out whose table belonged to whom. By 11:10 am, the waitress came to my table and took my and my wife’s order and left. Ten minutes passed and the waitress came to my table and said that my food was being worked on and left. Ten minutes later, she returned, apologized, and repeated the same message, smiling before leaving. After another ten minutes, my wife called over another waitress and asked about the status of our order, and the waitress politely offered to investigate.A minute or so later, our waitress arrived and repeated the same information, and I told her that I would wait another 5 to 10 minutes, but if my food wasn’t ready by then, I would leave.I noticed that customers who had ordered after us were being served, while we were still waiting, so I got up and went to the kitchen, where I saw waitresses standing around, and requested the manager’s phone number, as I had been waiting 30 minutes for my food and it was unacceptable. At the time, the restaurant lacked a manager and, as a result, was in a state of disorder.I’m not sure who’s running this place, but there should be some kind of accountability. This isn’t the first time this has happened, but there won’t be a third time.I’m reluctant to start timing the waitresses from the moment they take my order to the moment they serve my food.
Its not like the place was busy with customers as it was pretty empty.

Emily was fantastic! We came in with a large party, we were sat quickly, and she was at our table getting drink orders right away. She was very helpful with our ordering and made sure everything was accurate. Thanks, Emily!
I later learned another server was supposed to be taking care of our party. But somebody in our party overheard her complaining how she didn’t want to take us because we had small children and would take up too many tables. What she didn’t know is we’re all in the industry. Emily deserved the $130 (50%) tip and Im glad she stepped up to take us.

Ordered a large meal online with a quoted prep time of about 45 minutes. We arrived roughly 20 minutes after to allow extra prep and were told it would be a 5-minute wait. Instead, we waited 30–40 minutes…
The issue wasn’t the wait itself, but the lack of clear communication. If we had been told upfront that the order would take longer, we would have gladly left and returned later. A simple, honest update would have made a big difference.
Seemed like the staff member helping either knew the order would be a longer wait and was avoiding telling us or simply had poor communication. She’d make eye contact then walk away…
The website limits large orders to longer prep windows, which makes sense—but that system doesn’t seem effective if orders aren’t started until arrival and customers aren’t informed of delays.

Never post but felt obligated to warn too
Waited an hour for food
Order was incorrect
Food was not edible
Powdered eggs at hotel likely a better quality option.
Waitress nice and could only apologize
Her tablet didn’t even work. Just bad situation.

We arrived at 9am. We placed an order at 9:25. We asked for an updated at 9:40. We were told it would be out “momentarily.” At 9:50 we are then told that the order was never placed to the kitchen because of a printer issue. The blatant lie by the server is what did me in. Somehow the food was served within 8 minutes. It would be common sense that if an order takes no more than 15-20 than why not check to see what’s going on rather than lying to customers. Tried to give it a second chance after a year and now we know why we stopped coming.

It was clean and the food was good, and came out quickly. They seemed to have very little staff, but there was almost no one there anyway. Drink refills had to be requested, even with empty glasses sitting at edge of table for quite a while. The other two in my party were eyeing the milkshakes, but one wanted to see if they had ice cream. When the waitress was asked she said they were out of ice cream…..so no milkshakes? Of any flavor? Idk. I was glad to leave and get back on the road to home.

The food was very good and our waitress was very nice. I went there with my mom, grandmom, and brother. He got a bacon burrito meal. Me and my grandmother got the sirloin tips and eggs(I got mine with no mushrooms). My mother got the quick 2 egg breakfast with bacon and grits instead of toast. For the most part it was great but the heater was broken and it was cold, the temp was 27°.

IHOP has some decent food at a reasonable price. However, the lack of professionalism, when there are only few diners, is lacking. I didn’t care to hear the yelling and bantering from the kitchen and just wanted to enjoy my meal. Chicken Florentine is a great light meal.

Food was actually really good. Could use some salt and pepper to your liking, but for the price, it was spot on. A little bit of a wait for the food compared to the amount of sitting tables, but if they keep pushing food like that, there will likely be few complaints.
