There was an argument with staff over who should seat us after waiting over 15mins. We were seated and then the argument continued with the kitchen staff on who would help us, totally turned my stomach, so we left. Several other patrons left before us, and now we know why. Short staffed and arguing among staff not a good look. The only good thing is the lady checking folks in apologized and even offered to wait on us and take our order. My son and his girlfriend live near by and stated this was their second chance to service our family and they lost that option after this fiasco. I normally praise I hop but this visit was a horrible experience. If you guys ever do “secret” visits. Visit this location and see what your staff is serving. Service received an F- in my book. Sad. Just sad and I work in customer service so believe me, I understand shortages, however this was totally unacceptable on all levels.

Food was good, initially the staff wasn’t sure who was serving or even working at the time. The manager has just left to get ice due to a mechanical issue with the ice machine. Once they got things sorted out the service was good. Our sever did a great job and explained the ice issue and brought us ice as soon as it was available.

We came Into the restaurant, was seated almost immediately. The restaurant was barely busy and it took about 15 minutes just to get drinks, on the other hand to get our food it took about 50 minutes to an hour. The waitress seemed to have an attitude since the moment we seated and mind you we only had 4 of us. Would have been better off going to the ihop closest to home. One of us had pancakes that came out nearly cold.

Waited at the front counter for 10 minutes. Staff looking and walking around but not one person could acknowledge me standing there. Do you wonder why no one goes there anymore?? It would be so easy to improve the experience if your staff was friendly. Last time for me & my large extended family.

HORRIBLE customer service. Not directed at the hostess or the man in red running food with tattoos. He was awesome, brought our food out with a smile! Only one who asked if we needed anything else, and checked on us. The restaurant was as so dirty, only the hostess was cleaning. Our server kept up a disappearing act, I guess she is a fan of magic. Felt like a waffle house more than waffle house itself. Please save yourself the money if you want good service. But will say, no complaints about the food. Even though only half came out.

This restaurant needs a deep cleaning. Also, one of the waitresses brought her kids to work. They were running around the restaurant, making a lot of noise. We ordered 2+2+2 and a bowl of grits. The grits were too thick, so she took our bowls to the back and added hot water to thin it out instead of giving fresh grits. The restaurant was pretty slow, and it took a long time (about 40 minutes) to get our food. The waitress was nice and friendly and apologized for the slowness of the kitchen. I would think twice about stopping there again. I will go to Crackle Barrel on the other side of the highway.

I’m sorry to say this but it was horrible. Our server truly didn’t want to be there. It wasn’t crowded at all but the food took forever to come out. We weren’t told that our order was running late or anything else. We will not be going back again.

THE WORST! If I could give ZERO stars, that would be too many. No greeting from the hostess, we waited 20 minutes to get our drinks, 15 minutes later…..still hadn’t taken our order. The restaurant was filthy. The staff were eating instead of working. If you’re planning on going here….DON’T.
