i walked in and stood at the front for 10 mins before i was seated. me and my two sons, no kids menus & no silverware. This was national pancake day as well. After we sat and waited for our food for almost an hour, my pancakes were not soft and fluffy, they were dry and falling apart. My steak tips were sent back and ultimately i was stuck with these dry pancakes. I finished my drink & no refills were provided for any of us. i paid $4 per soda. The manager at this location walked past me 3-4 times and not once said anything. The syrup was empty so i placed it at the end of the table, again unnoticed. If i could give this place zero stars I would. I’m not sure if its was because we are of color but my service and food was absolutely horrible.

We got there early (7ish) and, though the place was basically empty, service was really slow. Breakfast was tasty as always–sausage, eggs, and pancakes were flavorful. Double check pricing on drinks–$3.50 for a cup of coffee and $4.50 for juice was a bit steep.

Saturday, July 12, 2025. Worst food and service I have ever ever had. Unbelievable.
Now let me say my spouse food was fine .
She stated she had no complaints other than the wait time for our food and service.
I can’t be sure they had a lot of employees there never saw the manager until I ask for her. She came from the back. I think she was cooking the food because they didn’t have a cook can’t be for sure but whoever was cooking my food and all you have to do is deep fry fish it was horrible.
The first batch was burnt. Even the server said yes, it is burnt. ( I can’t understand why she even brought it out to me granite she’s young she should’ve said something about my food being burnt) if that wasn’t bad enough, I asked her to take it back she says to me no you can keep it. I had to bite my tongue. Glad I pray that morning. I was gonna tell her no, you eat it. but I didn’t.
So she brought me some more fish out
This time it was undercooked it was frozen on the inside. At this point I asked to speak to the manager. The Manager took my order off the ticket. And I just pay for my spouse they did not even offer me a military discount. I think the server didn’t know how to do it, so I just left it alone. Did not leave a tip. Let me say that again, I did not leave a tip because the service as well as the food was horrible. I won’t be going back there in no time soon.
There was a party there of six sitting behind us. They waited over 45 minutes for the food, and what they did was got up and left.
After they walked out the door, heading to the cars here comes two servers with their food. The couple beside them sitting said they left, and we are about to leave Too ! Because We’re waiting for our food. Again, horrible day.
I’m not one to complain, but I will like to suggest the manager do more training with the employees and communicate to the customers better. End of statement.

Me and my husband were working in the area and thought we would stop in for breakfast. We were seated by the hostess right away. We then sat at the table for over 30 minutes before we were even able to put in our drink orders. My husband had to ask the hostess to assist us with being waited on. We put our food order in at the same time. It took almost another 30 minutes before our food began coming to the table. I received part of my meal and then informed that the server had the other part of my meal recooked due to sitting too long. Normally I would have truly appreciated that however my husband was almost done with his food before I got the second part of mine and when it arrives at the table it was cold. What was the point in having it recooked if it was gonna just sit in the back. There were a total of seven tables with people no large parties. I just don’t get what the deal was with the service. I have had great experiences at this location in the past which is why I wanted to stop in for a meal. I was so disappointed.

Dinner at the Yorktown IHop was delicious! We had the salmon dinner with green beans. There are specials for dinner Monday through Friday. We received one dinner Free! Our server, Summer, was very attentive and polite. We will definitely be going back for dinner.

We had a great experience at IHOP thanks to the manager, Carlos. My sister accidentally dropped her phone down the side of the chair, and Carlos went out of his way to help us get it back. He was patient, kind, and handled the situation quickly without making us feel embarrassed. We really appreciated his help. Thank you, Carlos, for going above and beyond!
