Average American chain experience. This one is actually better than most other IHOP’s in the area when it comes to food quality. Had the burger and pot roast, tasted decent and was happy as it was one of the few places open during Thanksgiving. Service was chaotic has they were quite busy. Overall I’m satisfied.

The omelet didn’t taste bad at all, it was the portion that really disappointed me. I’m not sure what happened, but the last few times I’ve had IHOP, the omelet servings were at least two times bigger.
On a brighter note, the pancakes, specifically the Mexican Tres Leches, were excellent. No need for syrup since they were already perfectly sweet, moist, and buttery.
As for the service, our server was nowhere to be found most of the time and took quite a while to bring us the check. She also mixed up one of the orders, giving hot milk instead of hot chocolate milk.
Not the worst experience, but with the smaller portions, which used to be the main reason I came here, I probably won’t be coming back.

Great, rapid service. The staff takes great care of you. The food is good, because it’s comfort food done well. It’s a quiet environment most of the time, great for conversation or if you just want to be left alone for a little bit.

I often visit the IHOP in Fairfax, VA, late at night several times each month because it’s the only place in the area that allows dine-in so late. Usually, I have a good experience, but this time I was really disappointed. I ordered the Chicken Fajita Omelette, which I’ve enjoyed before, but when it arrived, it wasn’t right. At first, it looked fine because of the toppings, but when I cut into it, I found there was no filling inside at all. Everything that should have been inside was missing and just placed on top, which made the omelette look smaller than usual. They also forgot to include the salsa. I understand the restaurant was busy with a large group, and I didn’t mind waiting, but the food quality should still be consistent. Since I’ve ordered this omelette before and it was much better, I know this isn’t how it’s supposed to be. For $16.59, I expected to get what the menu listed, but I left very disappointed.

Went with my little sister to ihop after she has a long soccer practice. Carlo was our server, and he was super attentive and considerate with making sure our meals and drinks were all good!! Food came out in a timely manner and we scarfed everything down thanks for everything Carlo!

And that’s the end of road for us with IHOP! After 8 years, we’re calling it quits for good. Where can I start on why? The Spicy Poblano (see photo below) I ordered was neither! Two pieces of Jalapeño and three pieces of beef for $16.99! It’s a rip-off! The pancakes are so soggy you hate to even touch them. Every other order was of the same low quality. Servers are overworked and stretched to maximum; it’s cruel and inhumane. Save your money, please and don’t go IHOP.

IHOP do better!! Yes, I’m “h’angry” right now. I’m really not happy with my online (to go) order. Part of 3 dinners ordered. My husband ordered the grill chicken salad. It is approx 14.00 and change. The amount of chicken that was put on this salad was 10, tiny (thumb nail sized ) pieces. I moved all of the chicken over to one side of the plate and took a picture for this review. This is not acceptable. We use to eat here frequently, I don’t know about now, hereafter. If we had eaten in the restaurant, I would have sent this back to be remedied. But this was a TOGO order that was sealed in a bag when we picked it up to take it home. We didn’t notice the lack of chicken until we opened the bag at home. I feel that sometimes cooks don’t treat a TOGO order the same as a dine-in order….knowing that once the customer leaves with their order there is not much recourse for the customer to remedy a bad situation. This needs to be fixed. I will include a picture if this site lets me. Btw, today is 3 Sept 2025 and we placed our order for a 9:15pm pick up at this location…in case the owner wants to know who was so “generous” with the chicken. Yes, that is sarcasm.

I appreciate that IHOP is open 24 hours, making it convenient for early morning breakfasts. The menu offers various food items, and the pricing is quite reasonable. While the breakfast burrito had a promising appearance and tasted decent, I found it hard and dry. The inclusion of crepes adds to the overall value for money. The service was satisfactory, though I did find the chairs to be less than ideal for extended seating; while they are cushioned, the 90-degree angle makes them somewhat stiff. The ambiance is pleasant, providing a decent dining experience.

I walked when I walked the air was THICK with abject joy, the likes I hadn’t seen since the salad days of my youth. Always nice to see this. Carlo is particularly an awesome for us!!!!!!!
