Maybe it’s better dine-in, but takeout was rough. The omelet was flat and barely filled, the avocado slices looked like they were added five seconds before closing the lid, and the potatoes were cold. For those prices, I expected fresh and filling, not sad and skimpy.

They didn’t have broccoli and instead offered me this sad wilted bouquet of spinach on the side. My husband was stiffed a pancake on his stack of 5 buttermilk pancakes. Is it ever reasonable for anyone to order 5 buttermilk pancakes? No. Of course not. Each IHOP pancake is a towering pillar of dry, dry batter and no reasonable person should ever consume more than one or two of them, let alone five. Nevertheless he ordered 5 and received 4. Service was slow. A tumbleweed of hair blew past our table.
Is any of this the true reason that I am leaving 1 star? No. I am leaving 1 star because IHOP is not a good restaurant. It is not good, and I knew this before I was made to come here. But perhaps, reader, you do not yet know this, so take heed. Do not come to the international house of pancakes. Go to Denny’s instead, which has never done me any wrong.

Our waitress Sebastian from IHOP in Germantown with a code in my receipt of 420402580831402, made our visit truly special. My granddaughter can be very picky, but Sebastian never once lost his patience. He stayed calm, gentle, and so attentive, making sure everything was just right. The way he treated my baby girl warmed my heart — he was kind, understanding, and genuinely caring. Because of him, our experience was not just good, it was memorable. Excellent service and a wonderful experience. We are so thankful for such wonderful service.

I partnered with this IHOP to host a community event for the Clarksburg Islamic Center and the team here was fantastic. I spoke to Juan on the phone initially to coordinate and I met with Winnie in person to confirm the details as the event was early in the morning at 3:30am (suhoor during Ramadan) and wanted to ensure they had enough staff to accomodate us and she was very understanding and kind. The night staff that took care of us during the event were phenomenal, very kind, and very attentive. We really appreciate the whole team here and hope to partner again in the future! My husband and I ordered a cinnastack to share which never disappoints 🙂

I love IHOP! One of my favorite places to go for breakfast. So happy to have one located near me.
Stopped by to have breakfast. I had the Breakfast Sampler (eggs, pancakes, meat choice and hash browns), English Muffin, grits and an Iced Brew Coffee. Fantastic. Have always loved the stack of pancakes with the strawberry syrup. Great to have multiple syrup choices. The order came out quickly and it was hot and delicious.
My server was Susana and she was outstanding. Quick to bring me my food and provided me with excellent service.
Overall a great meal and great service.

I sat in Isabela M’s section and had a wonderful experience. That woman is the matriarch of Ihop, she does it all. She is warm, prompt and my chicken and waffles were great with my honey mustard. I love that this place is open 24 hours.

Hands down one of the BEST IHOP restaurants I’ve been to in a very long time! I brought three clients here for breakfast, and we truly enjoyed the atmosphere, a server that was attentive, fast, and checked in to ensure we were doing well, and got us our hot food to us straight off the griddle! I will drive back to this location when my pancake cravings kick into overdrive!
