I arrived and no one greeted me. I waited about 5 minutes, then another person arrived and they asked her where she was going. That girl didn’t even look at me from the moment I got there. I had to wait until another waitress came, and she finally showed me to my table. The wait was unnecessary because I was just one person and there were tables available.
I waited another 10 minutes for someone to take my order. I ordered at 10:54 a.m., and it wasn’t until 11:40 a.m. that they brought my food. They only brought me a waffle (I ordered a waffle, bacon, eggs, and hash browns). The waitress even asked me if I wanted anything else, so I explained again what I had ordered. I waited about another 4 minutes, and the guy who brought my food basically dropped it on the table.
On top of that, my food arrived at the same time as some ladies who had arrived about 30 minutes after me. The order was wrong—they gave me ham and sausages, things I didn’t ask for. When I told the waitress, she said they added them because of the waiting time, which they never asked me about and they are things I don’t eat.
Overall, it was a bad experience. About four different people attended me, and it didn’t feel like proper customer service. Also, from what I could notice, this treatment seemed to be only toward me, since the staff kept going to the nearby tables and serving them while I was still waiting and not being attended to.

Stopped in for breakfast. I was greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant is spacious and very clean in side. The service was excellent with large food portions and very tasty. Definitely be back to try more items.

Ordered an app and burger w/bacon. Both came out at same time. Didn’t know apps come out at the same time. By the time got to my burger it was cold and no bacon on the sandwich. 1st time under new ownership was good. 2nd time bad experience. Won’t return, go to dennys or drive up to Moosic to waffle house.

Every time I dine in here Laura is our server, I’m a regular here and every time we get her as a server she gets our food order correctly. And to top it off her customer service is excellent, she doesn’t just serve us but she makes our experience dining in here feel like home. Now every more often that I dine in here I’m going to make sure I request Laura to be my server.

There are a lot of good places to eat in the area, so why pick a pancake joint? One word…. Quan.
You come in out of the cold and you are met with the warmest greeting from the scariest looking teddy bear you’ve ever met. Yes Sir, Yes Ma’am, thank you, no problem, I got it, how can I help… Note pad? NAW… Quan don’t need no stinkin note pad, his mind is sharper than a tack, and talented.. Let me tell ya, the man can greet you, take your order, cook your meal and bring it out to you ALL BY HIMSELF. Tonight I watched this man tread water, as the tables backed up I saw him get drinks, take orders, seat people, COOK, bus tables and cash people out. Humble, kind, polite, UNDERPAID I’m sure.
Quan, I live almost 2 hours away, but I’ll be calling ahead to make sure you’re working before I make the drive again. NEVER lose what makes you, YOU!

I had an amazing experience at IHOP, and a big part of that was thanks to our server, Laura. From the moment we sat down, she was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. She checked on us often, made sure everything was perfect, and had such a positive attitude the entire time.
Our food came out hot, fresh, and exactly how we ordered it, and Laura made the whole experience even better with her professionalism and kindness. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers and takes pride in her work.

“I don’t understand what’s going on at IHOP. They have everything they need to offer good service, but I always end up having a bad experience. I’m a fan of IHOP, and Wilkes-Barre really needs one, but I want to go because I enjoy it, not just because I don’t have other options. The service is terrible, and I never see a manager supervising or making sure things run smoothly. I went to place a takeout order, the restaurant only had about five tables occupied, and my order still took almost half an hour. The servers also need to be friendlier. I truly hope that this new management can turn this restaurant around, because those of us who love breakfast need you here and want you to stay—but a lot needs to change, both in the front and the back of the restaurant

It was not busy. Took 3 people to ask about drinks. Got coffee but had to wait for cups. Had to ask for silverware. Burrito was to have guacamole. None. Ask and was brought slices of avocado. Not same thing. Several tables left or complained about service and food while there. Waitress was nice but she was only one on floor. Mgr stated staff called off.

By far, this Ihop has surprised me the most. We all think that
Mom and Pop diner have a much better chance of having greater food and service, but this franchised IHOP, which is specifically at this location, has great quality of food and is very clean at all time.
I discovered that because the owner actually does personally be there.Take care of every aspect of it quality.
Some of the waiter and waitresses can use a little more training, but they are already working on improving this area.
Everyone should give this place a chance to prove that they are, as good as mom and pop places, if not better.
Unlike any other stereotypical franchises, they are very accommodating, and they’re always willing to listen to the customer.
One more added note They’re actual food, and pictures on the menu are pretty close, unlike all other franchises, which have fancy pictures, but actual serving are extremely off from pictures in the menu.

The pancakes were fluffy & very delicious ! Our server Shez was so amazing ! She was friendly all smiles. Love that service ! 10/10 would come back just for Shez. & the fluffy pancakes of course
