The host Sarah was so amazing. Super friendly. And our server Leni was so personable and sweet and I’ve never had such service in my life at any restaurant. Manager Edwin was super attentive and always checked on us to make sure we were doing well. Compliments to the chef!

Seriously the best experience every time I am in here! I have been to many ihops on the island and this is my favorite. The staff could not be sweeter and the food is always out of this world. Waitress didn’t know how to answer my chemistry question. My son spilt his tea on his shirt and she gave some napkins (very good). My son really likes the black tea, he made it himself, usually his mom doesn’t let him. We divorced a couple of years ago. Anyways, my chicken tendies were also pretty good, BUT my strawberry shake was too much berry and not enough straw. My buddies fish n chips were also srcumdiddlyumptious, HOWEVER she spilt the tartar sauce on herself. Ceiling was not up to my standards, as my ex-wife (I still miss her). Also did you notice that In the logo there is a smily face. Coming back Sunday, would recommend!

Absolutely the worst service!
We were seated right away for a party of two, but no one came by to take our order — not even for drinks — for over 12 minutes. Meanwhile, another party of two was seated right next to us after we arrived, and the same waiter immediately went to take their order, completely skipping us.
Not sure what’s going on with this IHOP’s staff lately, but the service has gone downhill. We’re Oceanside residents and have been coming here for years, but recently it feels like the servers have forgotten they’re in the hospitality business. Really disappointing experience and definitely not what IHOP used to be.

Look .i love IHOP for my breakfast with my family . We go once a month . We went on 1/2/26. What’s up with the table adjacent to us playing “Marjong”? I really didn’t appreciate it . Don’t believe it is appropriate for this family restaurant. I’m only a customer. The servers were excellent and the food was great as usual.

This is the 2nd time we’ve been to this IHOP location. We had very good service both times. If we had one complaint, it would be that, although “kids eat free from 4 pm-9 pm” was clearly posted at the entryway, the price for our child’s entree was still included on the bill and we had to ask our server to take it off. Other than that, would recommend this location.
