The service from Raquel was friendly and wonderful, which made it even better.
The space was a bit small and felt cramped, but that actually added to the nostalgic atmosphere, so I didn’t mind.
The banana Foster meal was what I loved most and to be expected. Even the free short stack :-).
Overall, I would come again but expectations would be higher. Not gonna lower the bar on you guys. Surely you can do better, above and beyond.
Friendly staff.
$7 fresh squeezed non-organic orange juice is wild I got the $4 sweet tea.
2x2x2 breakfast combo is my fave and scheduled absolutely nailed the soft scrambled eggs with cheese!!! delicious ! Spinach wasn’t seasoned, not fries. Steak was ok.
The seats are old and need replacement. Cushion is gone and you sink in. They Need to sweep under each table after customers.
My experience with their sirloin steak left me astounded; its tenderness was nearly akin to melting in my mouth. The loaded mashed potato proved equally delectable. Among their pancake offerings, we ordered the New York cheesecake strawberry pancake and the Mexican tres leches pancake. The latter stood out as my favorite, with its irresistibly mouthwatering appeal. Notably, the turkey sausage accompanying the world famous pancake combo was exquisitely juicy, a definite distinction from other branches I tried out! The spicy poblano was tasty as well!
The atmosphere was very welcoming and our waitress was cordial, welcoming, well mannered and utterly efficient as well.
But I must say, this branch is a bit congested with lot of people visiting there and long wait time in the weekend. However, I strongly recommend this specific branch for better food taste and service. Definitely we’ll visit there again.
This particular IHOP looked cramped with a small parking space which gets filled very quickly on the weekend. Cars were lining up just to park. During my visit, we ordered the usual, pancakes, omelette, hash browns and fries. Everything was delicious. No complaints over the food. IHOPs are know for their quality of food and this one checked that box for me.
If there’s anything about this place that I would like to give me opinion on would be the parking and the capacity of operation. During my visit, all the tables around me seemed to be occupied, so I’m not sure if do operate at some restrictions. The staff had all worn masks but after seeing the amount of cars and the people inside, it raises some questions surely.
A major concern we had was finding a hair in our avocado toast. At first I thought it might be mine, no big deal, but when I kept pulling at it, it came from the avocado so I didn’t think my hair could be submerged into an avocado slice that deep that quickly because the server had just brought the plate. Apart from being crowded and nothing having enough room for our food, the ordering experience was pretty awful. It’s like we were being forced to order these combos and if we didn’t then, there would be additional charges. For many things such as toppings that’s reasonable, but if I wanted a waffle combo it’s $16 but just a waffle alone is $18? I didn’t get a chance to really look at the menu so we just asked our server and I guess she wasn’t too sure of the menu either based on the experience we had. She just wanted the order practically as soon as we were seated. It’s busy, I understand, you want people in and out which I also understand, but you’re a diner, people need a minute to at least look at the menu. I’m sure not every single person comes with their order ready in mind without looking at the menu. Lastly, within 10-15 minutes of receiving our food, and the plate falling and breaking etc, we were served our bill. Mind you, we were still talking about ordering a drink or dessert, something sweet. But with the service we encountered and the bill given to us so quickly we figured it’s best to just go elsewhere to satiate our sweet tooth.
