First time eating a full breakfast out in a restaurant in a long time. Server was excellent, food was very good. I even got my first ‘senior discount ‘ ever.

After a fun night out on the Atlantic City strip, we decided to wrap things up with a hearty breakfast at IHOP. This particular location had a cozy, welcoming vibe — the kind of place you expect to find comfort food after a long night.

We were seated fairly quickly, but the service was noticeably slow once we got to our table. It took a while before our order was taken, and the food didn’t arrive as quickly as we’d have liked. That said, the staff was polite and friendly, which helped make up for the delay.

When the food finally arrived, it was worth the wait. I went for the classic IHOP breakfast — fluffy pancakes with syrup, golden-brown hashbrowns, and perfectly cooked eggs. The pancakes were light yet filling, with just the right amount of sweetness. The hashbrowns were crispy on the outside and soft inside, while the eggs were exactly as ordered. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, which is exactly what you want from a breakfast spot like IHOP.

Overall, while the slow service was a bit of a drawback, the quality of the food made the visit worthwhile. If you’re in Atlantic City and craving a comforting breakfast, this IHOP is a solid choice.

Server was absolutely horrible. First we asked the server to move us to a more comfortable table. 5 people at a corner booth with a chair on the end, doesn’t work when 3 of the five are over 6′ tall. She shrugged her shoulders and ignored us. It took her over 20 minutes to bring us our drinks. Mind you she wasn’t serving any other table that we could see. Had another server bring us our food. Never came back to the table to check on us to see if we needed anything. Only to bring us the check. To our surprise had 18% gratuity added to our check. For 5 people. Are you serious. For what!!! IHOP needs to adjust your policy. Every other server that we saw was attentive to their customers and even greeted us as we walked by. Estella needs to find a new job, because customer service is not working for her.

Although the service here was good, my t-bone steak was well over-cooked. I didn’t complain because I was so hungry and redeemed my IHOP pancoins for it anyways so I didn’t actually have to pay for it, but with hindsight, I probably should’ve brought it up to my waiter so I could have fully enjoyed my meal. I ordered it medium and it was definitely well-done. Even my scrambled eggs were overcooked. Luckily, I was super hungry and just ate like my life depended on it lol.

It’s also worth noting that despite their pancake of the month also being advertised as a side (with only 2 pancakes), the waiter told me I had to to get it as a full stack (4 pancakes). I’m not sure why, but that’s what he told me.

I generally really like IHOP and their offerings, but I had never tried the T-bone steak before and after the experience I had with it here, I’ll probably never try it again. I’ll just stick to the sirlion steak tips and burgers.

I came here for a breakfast date. There were signs everywhere saying they were short staffed and hiring but I didn’t feel it during our dining experience. Our server, Lisa, was super sweet. The food came out pretty quick and very hot. The service overall was pleasant. Some patrons seemed unruly which made me sad for the staff. The prices were very agreeable for this economy as well.

Our server was very friendly, my bacon & eggs were good but the pancakes were overcooked and dry. You can find many other places with better food and cheaper prices. $60 is just too much for breakfast for two people.

The manager is very rude. She is what you call a female dog. There was hair in my friend food and she expected my friend to wait until she ran the cameras back to make sure she didn’t put it on there to eat! They don’t appreciate veterans here either. Oh and there’s roaches running around and stuff. #SylviaK

The last time we tried IHOP, I was disappointed TBH, food was average, prices were too high for the quality of food, no variety for coffee ( considering it’s a breakfast place), the dishes with eggs were average and honestly, I’ve only ever been there prior, because the kids like pancakes but there are numerous places that have much better tasting pancakes and French toast and breakfast items. The furniture is starting to become outdated and it feels like a retro diner, bit I’d still go to a retro diner first, at least you get the authentic experience, while here just the average vibe.

I would only come here out of convenience or no better choice.

Our server was pretty great! Don’t want to take his value away, probably the only reason I rate it 3*.
