I have eaten here before, tacos carnitas are amazing. Tonight I ordered my usual 2 street tacos carnitas, I got home and opened the foil to see a pool of oil, they were drenched in it like it was some kind of bad joke on me, I’m always polite and respectful wherever I go, I don’t understand why they felt the need to bathe my tacos in oil like they did!! Utterly disgusting and inedible and gross! As you can see the pool of oil in the pic this is no exaggeration.

Not great. I was a huge fan of Iguanas for years. Went there yesterday, atmosphere has totally changed. I got nachos with carne asada. There was hardly any meat or beans, just chips drenched in nacho cheese and jalapenos. It was disappointing. I couldn’t even relax and enjoy sitting for the meal because they were playing a boxing match on tv with the volume turned up so loud our ears were ringing. Not to mention ot was very unappetizing to watch people getting punched in the face on tv with all the blood and spit. Gross! Not likely to eat here again. So sad, I really loved this place in the old days.

Food tastes way better now with new owners. I’m a fan of their street tacos. All of the meats I have tried have been great. I particularly like their Al pastor and chile verde pork when they have it. Salsas taste homemade and have slightly different tastes each time I get them. Orange and red salsa are super spicy but very good!

Not the same Iguanas, just the name and an old location. Food is pretty good. Orange Sauce is watery and less smokey than Iguanas original.

It was ok, the soda machine was no good, all the flavors were flat. Something not balanced with the machine. I wanted to see if it had the remnance of the burritozilla but everyone was right differentfood. It was like a better taco truck.

“Iguanas Santa Clara” is not “Iguanas Burritozilla”. New owners, old location.
Food was alright. It’s not the same as the old iguanas, but it was still tasty and fresh. The orange sauce is smokier than the original.

I went there the other day years after they changed ownership and I actually thought the burrito was better than the previous owners.

Came here thinking I was getting one last burrito before Iguanas closed all locations in CA, but noticed everything tasted different. Found out that the original owners closed this location a while ago, and the new owners are using the Iguanas name and are even using a nearly identical looking menu (look closely and there is no Burritozilla listed).

Food was okay, but docking stars for being deceived. I would change my rating if it was named anything else.

Don’t know how to explain it but the nacho fries feel less filling than in the past few years.

Visually, it looks like the same quantity but I think something changed but not sure what

This is not the “real” iguanas that locals will recognize. New owners bought this location and are trying to imitate the brand but the food is different. Food isn’t bad per se but the original was better.
