This place is ok. It has changed management several times. The food is hit or miss and the place has gone down hill recently. It’s fairly clean usually and the building they’re in has been remodeled. They offer Mexican cuisine and pizza. Pizza is only served on Thursdays and it’s half priced. This place isn’t terrible, but it isn’t exactly great either. We go here usually once or twice a week.

Usually a great place to eat. I’ve only had one issue with them in about 40 visits. I found a hair in my plate 1 time but they promptly took care of it. They replaced my food immediately and took it off the bill. Other than that I would recommend this place to anyone. Great people that give great service and the food is amazing.

Too many things in one bag. Most of the containers were smashed down making a mess. They put two soft tacos in one piece of aluminum foil that opened in the bag! What a mess. Food was good though. They forgot my beans too.

My taco salad was swimming in liquid…supposed to have their cheese sauce on it however, it was straight liquid. Had a good flavor on what I could eat

We waited for an hour before we were finally served. We had no drink refills and several families came after us and got served. They knew they screwed up but wouldn’t even comp our drinks. Will NEVER eat here again.

We came in with a big group and the main server (with some help) worked hard to get our orders filled and kept our glasses filled the whole time we were there. Great Job!

TL;DR although the restaurant itself looks slightly worse for wear, to food is good.

We stopped by after a hike at Village Creek State Park and absolutely loved the food here.

The salsa was apparently spicy (per other members of my party) but I couldn’t taste any significant spice. It was good, but fell short of being my favorite salsa. The chips are the thicker variety. I prefer them to the thinner restaurant style tortilla chips some places serve.

I had the Ranchero Especial (Ranchero Special). It was very good. The cheese/rice had a hint of spice to it, the onions and bell peppers were perfectly cooked, and the chicken was so tender it almost didn’t need to be chewed.

My wife had a quesadilla and instead of serving a single tortilla folded with chicken/cheese/steak in the middle, she got two tortillas cut in fourths like a pizza. She said it tasted different from the usual fair, but delicious nonetheless.

One member of our party said that the chick, cheese and rice was too spicy, but no one else noticed any spiciness in that dish so your experience may differ.

I’m excited by a couple menu items and will be making this a regular stop on our hiking trips south of Jonesboro, AR.

Lots of broken chips and my tortilla shells don’t appear to have been cooked. Very disappointed…
