Loved the feeling of walking back in the past with the architecture of Gibsonburg. The bakery had many options of donuts, muffins, cupcakes and Danish. My favorite items were the whole wheat donuts and the cinnamon crumble muffin.

Sweet! Sunday morning bright and early, how nice it is to find a donut shop here. Entrance exactly on the corner, very fair prices, clean, cute and cozy shop. Too many creative and fun looking donuts. Service was quick and very friendly, added plus for taking debit. We did not see anything with meat or breakfast as such; there were also brownies, muffins, and cookies.

Truly disappointed. The cake I received looks like my 5 year old made it! I can’t believe you weren’t embarrassed handing me the cake. Not only did I walk in the store and wait for 7 mins for 2 employees to finish their conversion. I said hello and still didn’t even get a hold on a second please! Very rude and so disappointed in the quality of a custom cake. I wish I could post a picture on your site.
Never discussed edible image ever!! Also maybe you should cut the image properly not like a 5 year. …. post the image of your work if so proud! Also what about your rude employees. I shouldn’t say hello before your employees! Rude and not worth the 40 dollars. Also maybe let customers know they cam pay cash and not be charged a fee!! Never again!

Thanks, Ideal Bakery, for making our granddaughter’s day extra special! Her first request was to stop and get a donut. She picked a lemon filled, powder sugar covered donut and was not disappointed! The extra special addition with adornments and a small ring made her day.

This place holds a lot of great memories for me actually. Since I was little, when visiting my Grandparents in the area, I’d wake up early and go into town with Grandpa to get a couple boxes of donuts for the family. Grandpa passed on and it’s been 5 years or so since I’ve been, but I still remember and sometimes crave the maple glazed white cream filled donuts we used to get. And if memory serves correctly, the pink-glazed donuts as well. Still some of my favorite donuts.

It was a nice little place in a nice little town. Took 30 minutes to drive there and the donuts just were not worth the drive. The donuts were good, just not good enough to travel. We did arrive after 9:00 am and the donuts were limited. Did not have the choclate filled Long Johns I wanted to try. Will go one more time hopefully this time they will receive more then 3 stars.
They don’t take credit cards either, that was a disappointment thank god there was a bank across the street.
