This place has gone downhill. Not only was the girl at the front counter rude and unfriendly, but the food was gross. Shrimp weren’t even cleaned and so overcooked that I couldn’t eat them. Poopy rubber shrimp? Gross!! Also when I opened the container the little sauce cup had popped off and spilled everywhere because the cheap plastic lid had warped because of the heat from the food. Put it in a separate baggie or invest in better quality containers. Definitely go someplace else. They use to be pretty good, I’m really disappointed. I’m giving 2 stars being generous.

The food was top notch. It only took 10 minutes to serve me, the food was hot, and properly cooked. For one meal, with a side plus a drink, I spent 25. They were kind, attentive and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Make sure you check your food. Ordered chicken katsu and she only gave me 1 piece. Anyone who has ever ordered katsu before know it’s 2 pieces of katsu cut up. Then when I asked they want to make it seem acceptable. It’s a shame because I came here before. You just lost a customer. And for all my fellow customers, you have to understand how much power your money has. Don’t tolerate any disrespect. Without our business they cannot survive.

The food was delicious and generous with a great variety of options on the menu. Most well-rounded teriyaki place I have been. There were even low carb options. We will definitely go back.

First time I came here I got a regular chicken teriyaki and it was delicious. I loved it so much that today I decided to call and order a Bento box. Had I known that the two main entrées (rice and meat) were smaller than the sides I would’ve ordered somewhere else. Like I said their food is really good but there’s no reason why they should gyp people. I love teriyaki and get it on a regular basis for many different places and I must say that this is the only place that gives this little amount of food for a $20 Bento box.

One of my favorites, because I’ve ordered takeout countless times and have not once experienced bad food or service. I now live over 20 miles away, but chose to stop in here instead of risking one of the local Teriyaki joints closer to home(since none of them have many good reviews).

I Ichiban special 1. Spicy sweet chicken dish with white rice. Large portion. It was very good and came hot from the kitchen. I will eat here again and again. So far, twice both times, this dish was excellent.

This little strip mall eatery is packed with surprises! Food is made to order with fresh ingredients. They have Japanese and Chinese favorites. Taste is excellent and portion size is generous. My husband and I can make a meal for two out of one dish! Service is friendly and fast. I highly recommend Ichiban. If you’re trying to grab a quick, affordable meal, this is the place. And it’s cheaper and better quality than the stuff from the grocery next door, and it hasn’t been sitting around all day.
