I celebrated my birthday at Ichiban in Asheville, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The staff was accommodating, and even though reservations weren’t necessary, we chose to do so anyway and they had our seats ready and waiting.
The hibachi chef was not only a culinary maestro but also kept us entertained with his humor—it was like dinner and a show.

First time here and was pleasantly surprised by how friendly the staff was. Service was great from waiting at the bar before our table was ready to the crew that cooked and refilled our drinks. The food was delicious the filet tender, the chicken juicy, and the shrimp cooked just right. We’ve gone to other hibachi places before but the service and food here stick out above the others. Will happily return with more friends and family!! Cheers!!

Fantastic food. Alcoholic beverages were delicious and pretty strong. Service was impeccable! I’m not a fan of carrots, but these were tasty. Very busy when we visited, but they took great care of us. Very fast in the restaurant side and very clean.

We came here for our 10th anniversary, and it did not disappoint. Such a great selection of dishes. We went for many awesome rolls and tried favorites like Rainbow Roll. However, my favorite was the Blue Ridge roll. Our server was very attentive and helpful, and this was a busy night. Definitely recommend!

There are 5 handicap parking spaces here and around 50 plus free parking spaces. The restaurant is in excellent shape and well taken care of. The building is clean and well organized. The employees are friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the food offered at this restaurant. The hibachi grill is the best. They cook the food at the table and you are well entertained. There was a 10 year old girl who was having her birthday party here. This is the restaurant to go to when you are having a birthday party. It was awesome. Overall, I am quite happy about my time spent in this Japanese restaurant. When you eat here, get the hibachi grilled chicken and steak it’s the best thing to order for hibachi dinning.

We went for dinner I had chicken and shrimp teriyaki, wife had scallops hibachi, son had chicken and scallops hibachi and his girlfriend had shrimp and scallops hibachi food was delicious. The show that they do while cooking is always such much fun. The waitress that took order got drinks did a great job too.

Absolutely bangin I loved it. Me and my date ordered 2 sweetheart rolls and look at how cute the plating was! It was delicious I highly recommend. The prices definitely make this more of a one or 2 person place I think it would be quite expensive to take the whole family, and It’s understandably very busy so if the noise will bother you maybe just try to avoid peak dinner time. No takeaways other than that, food was great!

I really enjoyed taking my husband here for his birthday. We had reservations for a hibachi table and were seated with another birthday party. I enjoyed chicken & shrimp, while my husband ordered the Imperial Filet Mignon, which also comes with shrimp & chicken. I must say that the Imperial does not increase your portion size. That said, I am grateful to report that even in a post-Covid inflationary world the prices at this restaurant are still reasonable. Staff were very friendly & the food and show were top notch. My only complaint is that we had reservations & still waited over 15 minutes in very tight quarters in the bar area.

Went here for Christmas Eve dinner. We went to two other places that were closed because it was Christmas eve. I was very happy to find this place. It was really busy but we didn’t wait too long. We waited only for a couple of minutes since we wanted sushi. Habachi was a 30 minutes wait. The server was very nice. The food didn’t take too long to get to the table. We waited about 5 minutes. All the dishes was very good. Good favor. Not too salty.
For a busy restaurant, their restroom was clean, which is a plus.
