We stopped into Ichiban Steakhouse on 9th Street a little later in the evening and were greeted with nothing but kindness and professionalism. Even though it was late, our waiter was extremely polite, welcoming, and never made us feel rushed. We opted for water, and refills were prompt and attentive throughout the meal.
We started with the boiled dumplings, which were clearly handmade and absolutely delicious. You can taste the freshness, and they’re some of the better dumplings I’ve had in the area. For the entrée, we ordered the chicken with garlic sauce, which came with white rice. This dish has always been a favorite of mine here, and it didn’t disappoint—flavorful, well-balanced, and consistently outstanding.
I asked to substitute fried rice and added an egg roll for an additional $9.95. The fried rice is prepared completely differently than what you find at most Chinese restaurants, and it’s excellent—unique, flavorful, and well worth the upgrade. The egg roll also tasted handmade and was crisp, fresh, and very satisfying.
Overall, the service was great, the staff was genuinely polite, and the bill was very reasonable even with the upcharge. A consistently solid spot with great food and friendly service.

We’ve realized over the multiple times we’ve been here that portions are larger when your habachi table is just your family no strangers in the group not sure why.
It’s better to go during slow times like lunch during the week.
Every time we go on the weekends the portions are smaller.
We love the food
The chefs are funny and attentive

Dingy and outdated. No soap in the men’s bathroom. Same one the staff uses ♂️. Food was decent. Hibachi show sucked. Service was terrible. My wife and I ordered glasses of wine that were so terrible. Bottle was probably opened months ago. Expensive for the amount of food you get. Stay away.

Loved the experience, had so much fun. This was the first time going here in quite some time. Hibachi Chef did a great job can’t really complain too much as we had many laughs with an enjoyable dinner. Forgot one of our appetizer so luckily they ended up cutting it off our bill.

This is my goto fancy dinner after a day of skiing. I get 1 alcohol drink and I get rice and noodle with hibachi. The steak is always cooked right. And I always tip the cook 5 bucks after his performance….which makes everyone else get their wallets outs and tip the man. Dont be cheap they make you smile. Theres no price for happiness.

After reading some of the reviews we were skeptical about going here but decided to go anyway. I have to give the 5 solid stars for sure. We were seated right away at 5:00 on a Saturday night, the service was very good. My sushi appetizer was phenomenal!! The soup and salad were delicious and we all had the Hibachi which was absolutely delicious!! The only warning I’ll give someone reading this is take a look at your bill before paying. They add an 18% service charge automatically which is actually the tip, so if you don’t see it and put your own tip on the bill they are probably getting over tipped. All in all we had a phenomenal experience and great food!!!!!

We all agreed it was a great dinner and experience(rare to get all of us to agree )! It was well worth the money we spent tonight. The food was delicious and making a reservation worked out perfectly. I recommend this restaurant for a really great tasting meal and some fun entertainment while it’s being prepared on the hibachi side of the restaurant. Strongly recommend a reservation during the busy times to avoid a long wait for a hibachi table.

I was hungry and stopped at this restaurant for a quick bite. When I arrived I parked in their lot. I walked in and was greeted and sat at a booth. Elizabeth and another young lady served me. I ordered the lemon drop martini for my drink, then wine. I wasn’t too fond of the wine. For my meal, I got the hibachi red snapper, and it was tasty and filling. I liked the fried rice and shrimp it came with. The bill was super affordable. All in all I had a good experience.

Absolutely loved this place!!! At first out front I wasn’t sure as the front outside is dated however this was an amazing place. The food was incredible and the chef was the best I have ever seen! Ever made balloon ears for all the kids. Will definitely eat here again if in town!

Love sitting at the bar after a long day for a good dinner. The sushi is always perfect and fresh. We got softshell crab tempura and perfectly cooked udon along with other items this time around.. We like catching up with what new fish they have in the aquarium tank. Always fun to see. They recently updated the menu, drinks and all. They added some new options. Notably, there is a new Ramen section of the menu. We will be back. Thanks for another fantastic dinner.
