We are a family owned restaurant serving up traditional German food in the heart of Coos Bay . Using locally sourced ingredients and organic foods, we make our own breads , desserts, noodles , and gravies in house without using powders or mixes . We smoke all of our meats in house as well. Now serving brunch weekends ( Saturday and Sunday ) Closed Wednesday. Many many glutin free dishes to choose from!

Our server was friendly and efficient. I forgot her name. Petit blond with arm tattoos. She remembered my dad and his favorites. We ordered a to go meal and desserts in addition to our dine in meal. It was packed with care. We will definitely return again. The bread is amazing!

Amazing chicken and spatzle dish, the homemade bread was fantastic and dense. They have a cozy outdoor patio space that looks well sheltered and have a kid’s menu.
Lots of gorgeous cakes and cheesecakes, a Gluten Free option option was available when I visited.
Server was friendly and very attentive, love all the lovely old fashioned decor.

Wow. That is an understatement. I try a bennie everywhere I go. The burnt ends benedict here was by far my favorite…ever. That silky yolk and 100% home made hollandaise is incomparable to all the rest. Well done. Great server, she was friendly, personable, and great to interact with in all directions. I will definitely be back.

If they have the Maple Bourbon Maple cake, get as much as you can! The food was amazing and the dessert topped it off! I went there with 2 friends, one of whom didn’t want to try it, but after she did, she wanted to go back and buy all they had!

This place is AWESOME. We came in late on MLK day and were greeted by the nicest server (blond lady). Even though we had a screaming baby she was so kind. She gave us some great tips about the area. The food was EXCELLENT! I am first generation Austrian and I approve. Delicious wonderful experience

I don’t think I have ever felt this unwelcome and I’ve been to many establishments. It was a special night for us after many hours of driving and basically we had to hurry up and leave because they decided to close early. I honestly wish they closed before we came in. The food didn’t make up for the service we received. Honestly, I’m shocked this kind of hospitality gets them business…
