Best in Williamsburg. Fresh and quality food. Friendly and professional waitstaff. Varied menu of Asian food. The sushi is always fresh and well prepared. My go to place for fresh food and professional service. I’ve never been disappointed.

High end Asian cuisine wrapped in family love! We continually have the best experience at Ichiban and always leave wanting more! Romantic evenings or a quick bite to yourself! Today’s Green curry is my absolute new favorite! The owner Maggie is the best and First is so accommodating! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best sushi experience I have ever had!! And I’m a NYC local the sushi chef was so kind and made everything with care and portions were amazing. The toro was to die fore and he even gave me two pieces of his own creation for free I will absolutely be back i also think he gave me real wasabi which I haven’t had in ages and was amazing if I could rate 10 stars I would!!!

Probably one of the best restaurants I’ve tried so far in Williamsburg. Menu is huge, you’ll definitely find something for all tastes. From Chinese food to sushi, a great selection. The vibe is really nice, not so casual. The sushi was amazing, all rolls were delicious and fresh but my personal favorite was the Ichiban Roll. Will be back here to try more items on the menu for sure.

Beautiful restaurant with warm towels and great service! Quickly got our first order for the hungriest at the table. When an item took a little longer we got a special treat. Highly recommend for a fancy dinner with the best service and great food!

Usually very good. Not so much tonight. Veg lo mein was inedible. Not fresh, mushy and swimming in oil. Spring rolls are a hard no. Mushy and nothing but dough. Very disappointing. Was our favorite Chinese food. Not any more. Gotta find somewhere else.

Excellent lunchtime specials. The Pick 3 lunch can’t be beat if you are in the mood for Asian food. Plenty to choose from, and a great lunchtime price. Their Wonton soup is really good. My wife and I love their Eight Treasure Eggplant. Staff here are usually very attentive and polite, although the hostess should probably have an updatable seating chart at the front, because every time someone comes in, she has to go look at the empty tables before making a decision of where to put your group.

Unfortunately, the sushi bar has dropped off in recent visits. I’ve stopped ordering sushi, because the chefs won’t change anything on their rolls. I don’t like masago or eel sauce. Previously, when I asked for it to be left off, they did so without issue. However, the last 3 times I tried ordering without it, I was told the sushi chefs refused and will not change their rolls. So I’ve cancelled my sushi order each time and just ordered from the menu. It’s too bad – they used to make one of my favorite rolls, but if they refuse to modify (and that is their prerogative), then I refuse to order sushi from them anymore and will take that business elsewhere, as there is a better sushi restaurant in Williamsburg anyway. Also have noticed the Tempura Vegetable appetizer is getting smaller each visit. It’s no longer worth ordering. I’d rather pay more for a decent serving, than keep the same price for a much smaller amount of food.

Ichiban is a great Asian respite. Beautiful inside, with great service and great food. Whether you pick Japanese or Chinese, you will not be disappointed. The ginger dressing on the garden salad is better than most, the ‘House Special’ Duck is very good, and the Orange Beef is spectacular! A little pricey but you get what you pay for.
Back to try the Japchae, very good and my son’s Drunken Noodle was spectacular! Wife’s Shrimp Asparagus was excellent. Great unfiltered sake; check ✔️ out the bar! Still an Asian food paradise!! YUM!
Another visit; got Chicken Tempura (The best, they velvet the chicken, melts in your mouth ), son had Orange Chicken (tasty), and wife ordered the Salmon. She said some of the best Salmon she has tried anywhere!!
Still trying to find a dish I don’t like!!
Had the General Tao’S Tofu, YUM! And the Firecracker Beef , luscious…
Still haven’t found a dish I didn’t like…. The Singapore Noodles

This review is for their lunch take-out. First off, it’s rare to find a restaurant with lunch specials on the weekends, so we really appreciated that on a Saturday. The food was prepared quickly, arrived piping hot, and was packaged well (though oddly, no napkins were included). Everything tasted fresh and flavorful.
My only small complaint is that the portions were on the smaller side, almost child-sized, but given the reasonable price, it still felt fair.

The food is phenomenal every time I go! The service is also amazing. The variety of sushi makes us so happy. And I can never say no to the orange chicken. It’s perfectly crispy and not overly sweet. The sweet tea is even good. The atmosphere is very nice too. They have a more formal dining area as well if you have a larger party or want to do something nice there.
