I got the chicken teriyaki with steamed veg and it was killer! $13 for an adult sized entree is a really great price for the quality and amount of food. I’m stuffed. I ate a few pieces before taking the photo, the plate was LOADED

Interesting.

This place seems somewhat authentic.
I’ve never been to Asian, but the food seemed more like something from one of those late night YouTube binge watching street foods from other countries.

The food was separated nicely as was the sauce.
The noodles were oily, but tasted decent.
The tofu was deep fried and had a nice moist inside.
There was only two lonely broccoli in my yakisoba Veggy tofu, which is disappointing at 14$.

The Sriracha was fake, and tasted very vinegary.
But the teriyaki was decent flavor.

A nice addition was the rice, which added a good compliment to the overall dish.

As a veggie yakisoba, wish it had more veggies, but they did add alot of tofu (almost too much).

Asked for a to go cup for the remaining of one of our drinks and was told they do not do to go cups but sitting at the table was a gentleman that had a to go cup with a lid and a straw…. it is not nice to lie…. my beef must have been cooked on a grill that didn’t get scraped down before cooking more food as there were a lot of little charred bits at the bottom of my plate – portions were small compared to other ichi stores – will not eat at this store again

Yakisoba was boring, tasted like it came out of a can. If only I had some Sriracha. That would have been great. No condiments on the tables. Bland.

It’s been awhile since I had food from this establishment. I give them 2 stars. I ordered the spicy teriyaki Pork with Salad. They didn’t ask me how spicy I wanted my meal like I remembered in the past. Mine was unfortunately not spicy.

The salad dressing seemed to be the same house style they had in the past but this time it tasted different. The salad itself was Iceberg lettuce. It tasted fresh and snappy however the dressing was sub-par. The rice was cold and a little undercooked. The teriyaki dressing was horrible.
They thicken up the dressing but don’t let that fool ya. This was done to cover up the fact that they are cutting corners. The Pork was questionable and hard to taste due to the high salt content. Make sure you drink plenty of water otherwise you might get dehydrated.
The service wasn’t bad. That’s because there was no interaction like welcome in or how is your day going? Would you like a fork or chopsticks or something to drink? The lady seemed preoccupied almost like she didn’t want to be there. Overall they get Two stars. One for showing up and the other for handing me my meal. Let’s just say I won’t be going back to that location. If my memory serves me correctly the Ichi in Hazel Dell was very very good. I went to this location out of convenience. I learned my lesson for next time.

I had gotten food poisoning and paid 23.90 for one meal spare rib and chicken teriyaki.A worker was scraping the table with a knife no cleaner no rag every table was dirty. We were going to eat there but decided not to, and wanted it to go instead and was given attitude over that. Would not recommend going there and a health inspection is definitely needed.

I would have given zero stars if that was an option. I’ve frequented the 136th location since it opened with zero complaints. Today I ordered a side of gyoza, and upon arrival was rang up for 4 sides of gyoza. I told the clerk that I had only ordered one. She proceeded to argue with me. Her exact words were ” I told you several times 4 order.” In actuality she did nothing of the sort, and was unwilling to do anything but sell me three more orders than I requested. I hope it was worth selling me the three extra orders vs my ongoing loyal business. There are plenty of Teriyaki joints in Vancouver who will get my business in exchange for decent service and respect. A big F you to Ichi Teriyaki!
