The food was absolutely delicious, the service was great. The prices was great especially for the amount of food you get. My friend got ox tails she said they were delicious also. It was so good to the point we went right back before they closed to get more food.

We had an absolutely INCREDIBLE meal here. Jerk chicken with yellow rice, yams, and collards, oxtail with rice + peas, cabbage, and mac, plus some delicious Italian ice that we couldn’t help but finish before the pictures were taken. We drove an hour to try this place (we haven’t had good oxtail since our last visit to Atlanta) and trust me, it’s worth the drive! Generous portions packed with rich, well-balanced flavors. Do yourself a favor and try it out!

Visiting from out of town and found this spot from scrolling through foods out here. The reviews and pictures definitely convinced me enough to try since I haven’t had soul/Caribbean in a min. Without any expectations it’s a solid bust 8/10 the collars and rice could’ve use a bit more season to MY liking, but my toddler loved it. Cabbage, yams, and tender oxtail . I got the side order of oxtails and veggie plate the portion size is crazy for the price. It’s a must try definitely will be back before leaving.

The reviews are not lying! I got the curry chicken meal and it was delicious. I didn’t even plan to eat it, but I couldn’t stop after the first bite. The service, portions, and price were all phenomenal! I plan to return again this week while I’m in town. Im mad Google did not show me this hidden treasure earlier. Also, the restaurant is hard to find if you’re just looking for signs, but it’s inside the convenient mart with the green sign and drive thru, on the north side of the roundabout next to the 252 Store.

Let me tell you – Ice & Soul Food Truck absolutely showed out at the reggae concert in Wilson last night! The food was so good it had me doing my happy dance, and writing Google review. LOL!
The oxtails were hands down the best I’ve ever tasted…tender, flavorful, and that gravy? Out of this world! The rice was cooked to perfection, every grain soaking up all that rich flavor. And the collard greens… whew. I don’t know what magic seasoning was in there, but they were so good they beat out both of my grandmothers’ (RIP) recipes. Now that’s saying a lot! Sorry y’all!
Then came the cornbread. I can’t even begin to describe how good it was. Moist, buttery, slightly sweet…just ridiculous how good that food was from top to bottom.
It was my first time trying Ice & Soul, and it happened to be at a reggae concert. Let’s just say I was doing some happy dancing with every bite!
If you see this food truck anywhere near you, run, don’t walk. You’ll thank me later.

Great hidden gem in Wilson! We got the ox tail plate along with the chicken and waffles. Both had great portions and tasted fantastic. You will have regrets in life if you do not pick up some food.

I ordered through Uber Eats, and my food was fresh, hot, and delicious! I had catfish with collard greens, mac and cheese, yams, and cornbread. I live about 23 minutes away from the restaurant, so I was very impressed with the taste, speed, and temperature of the food. I would give it a 10/10 and highly recommend it!

I cannot recommend Ice & Soul enough! I’m a student at Barton College, Ice & Soul is a two minute walk from campus. The oxtails are great, and the chicken (curry, jerk, wings) never misses. Their menu is vast, I think you could go there for 2 weeks straight and get a different plate each time. The value for money is the best in wilson, if I had $20 to spend anywhere in Wilson it would be at Ice & Soul.

This is rare for me to eat and text, but I have to! I passed this place a million times and did not even know that there was a restaurant inside. I ordered the catfish, collards and Mac and cheese. To say that the food and service was perfect, is an understatement. I just wish that I could give the ladies there more than just 5 stars!!! (10 STAR FOOD!!!)
