Excellent dinner for our party of 9. All good came out together and hot. Truffle fries are a must! The solo sauce was perfect. Every dinner was delicious. Service was great. Drinks were fabulous.

The cocktails, food, and service were terrific!

We had a New York Sour, Gin and Tonic, Smoked Local Fish Dip, Pan Seared Local Fish, and Kale Caesar salad with Shrimp and each item was somewhat unique and delicious.

The restaurant setting and decor is really cool. And the server was friendly and efficient.

What an amazing dining experience at Ice Plant Bar in St. Augustine, FL!

The food was absolutely top-notch — everything tasted incredibly fresh and full of flavor. I had the Caesar salad with blackened chicken, and wow… I’m usually not a fan of kale, but this one totally won me over! The flavors were bold and balanced perfectly — the huge homemade croutons, tangy capers, and that touch of lemon brought it all together beautifully.

My wife ordered the fried chicken with gravy, collard greens, and hoecakes, and it was out of this world. The hoecakes were like the perfect mix between a pancake and cornbread — crispy on the outside, soft and buttery inside. Every bite was pure Southern comfort.

The ambiance was just as impressive. The restaurant is inside a restored 1920s building, keeping all that old charm intact — high ceilings, vintage details, and even a 1940s delivery truck parked outside . It feels like stepping back in time but with modern craft and flavor.

We both loved every minute and every bite. I’d eat here again anytime — one of those rare places that nails both the food and the experience. Highly recommend!

Do yourself a favor and have a meal and drinks at this place. They are running a serious kitchen here. Every single item was 10/10, the drinks were 10/10. I enjoy gin and had the Pimm’s cup, my wife had a vodka and gin drink called “Virtual Insanity. Both drinks were phenomenal. We loved the food and drinks so much that we came back for lunch and dinner. Excellent service and atmosphere. Staff here is truly knowledgeable and outstanding.

Great place to stop in St. Augustine. The restaurant is in the same building as the St. Augustine distillery so you can do 2 things at once. Awesome space in original ice house setting. Unique menu featuring locally produced ingredients. I had the 2 egg offering that had their homemade bread. The meal was fantastic. When you’re done eating, take the distillery tour & sample their bourbon & gin.

My first night in St. Augustine and boy did I find a great place- Ice Plant
I sat at one of the 2 upstairs bars
Seth was the bartender/server and he was Excellent
The place is known for creative cocktails and from what I could see, they are spot on
I ordered a half pound burger (skipped lunch) and boy was it good
No fries for me during Lent so I had a small salad as a side to the burger
Critical point: a cold salad should never be placed on a warm plate IMO
The atmosphere is fun and for a Monday night, it was busy
Would I come back: Yes

Great food with an even better service. My fiancé and I went last night and Jasmine was especially world class. We were back tonight for seconds! Their seasonal item the tea brined pork chop was of the highest quality I’ve had in a long time and their fish of the day (yesterday) was flounder and was on top of my list for favorite prepared foods in St. Augustine.

We are back tonight for more and are super excited for the different drinks too!

We stopped in and I can not complain at all. The food was great, delicious and all other adjectives combined. There is a pork belly slider app that needs to be an entre. I will be coming back for that and to try everything else on the menu. I forgot to take pics of the food because I was being fat and stuffing my face too fast.

It was a rainy night on Sunday but the place was crowded with happy, dry people. We sat at the gorgeous, vintage bar and were served by Kedwin and his colleagues. We started by sharing the large arugula salad- a nice healthy start to a rich and tasty dinner. I had the shrimp and grits- version is called something else, but it was deliciously soupy and featured local shrimp. My fiancé had the chicken and hoe cakes. Kedwin offered us a cocktail when he heard that we were engaged- he made us an exotic non alcoholic concoction to accommodate my guy’s alcohol free lifestyle- and then he toasted with us. It was a wonderful celebration! Thank you Kedwin and the rest of the staff!

Love this place! Wish it was closer to home. The drinks and food are amazing. You have to get the fish dip with the kettle chips and pickles. And the pimento cheese spread with garlic butter toast points are yummy. I had no more room for a full entree so I ordered the pork belly sliders and they did not disappoint. My son got the burger with bacon and a fried egg and he loved it. He saved some pimento for his fries. My mother ordered the fried chicken and hoecakes with collard greens and she said they were the best she had outside of cooking at home. Highly recommend.
