Ive been here twice. Its not been disappointing yet. Last time I got the country fried steak and it was amazing. I loved our waitress, she was really fun to talk too. The pricing if very reasonable.

THE ABSOLUT SUB is absolutely incredible! We were visiting town and the Ice Plant was highly recommended by our Uncle. Truly the kindest, most courteous, fastest takeout service and the BEST food. Such talent on these chefs for GREAT American food, even down to the grilled buttered bun (yum!). Really fantastic setting too with a gorgeous field out back overlooking the mountain, an even better patio out front, and a really cute and cozy interior. Nothing like this around the area! This place is really a gem to Greensboro, and we appreciate you guys giving the boro a good name and a reason for folks to come out to visit! Thank you so much the Ice Plant family for doing all you’ve done to keep this place going—sincerest thanks from all the Parreco family!

Pleasant place to get a great lunch, clean, friendly, nicely decorated with local history. Food was super, had the lunch special of beef stew in bread bowl, it was fantastic & price was even better. Can’t wait to go back.

I was basically driving around lost with no cell service and stumbled across The Ice Plant.
I decided to check it out instead of just passing by, and what a good decision that was.
I ordered the “Lilly Burger” and it was one of if not the best burger I’ve ever had, and it was huge for the price.
The lady at the counter was so nice and personable, and I loved the atmosphere of the building itself as well as the historical photos on the walls.
The restrooms were also very nice.
Such a great place to randomly come across.

Great Food and a very pleasant atmosphere! The fresh green peppers and onions on my MAMMOTH sandwich was a very welcome thing. But the regular mashed potatoes and fresh green beans that came with my wife’s Creamed Chicken and Biscuits was the best surprise yet! Thank You Ice Plant for definitely doing it right. You gained a couple new customers today!

Had a super experience here. Recently had surgery that required some dietary restrictions. No problem. The ice plant was super accommodating and our waitress (Danielle I believe) was attentive and super cool. Food was delicious, just as I remembered. Great experience! Thanks Ice Plant.
