Came here on a Friday evening with a group of five. We were seated promptly and put our orders in shortly thereafter. The most popular thing here appears to be the all-you-can-eat hot pot, however I had a hankering for the sushi. I ordered a few different rolls and they were good, nothing to write home about, but hit the spot for me nonetheless. Worth trying if you’re looking to get some sushi at a reasonable price.

Went with some friends, the hotpot was ok. We ordered 2 different broths, but the waitress gave us 1 broth. -1 point. I did appreciate the staff pointing out the sauce bar and ice cream bar, and being prompt with our plates. They kept checking in with us and cleared our empty plates every so often. The veggies, proteins, and carbs we got for the hotpot were of decent sized plates. The tom yum broth was alright. I got the unagi-avocado roll, $9 for 6 small pieces is overpriced.
There was no hand soap whatsoever in the women’s bathroom. Just hand sanitizer. Pretty gross. Gotta have better sanitation standards. -2 points.
Overall, place was ok. Very mid. This place is ok if you never had hotpot before. Service was ok. Not having any hand soap in the bathroom is not ok. As employees handling food in the business, they have to at least clean their hands, not just rub some hand sanitizer. I wouldn’t come back here just because of that.

We went here for my mom’s birthday and the service was amazing! Everyone was very happy to accommodate and helped us take photos and singing even though it was a busy day! Thank you for making my mom’s bday memorable ! The food was very fresh and the broth tastes AMAZING! The price is also affordable too! Love this place, will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotpot buffet. Lots of meat and seafood items included like crab, clams, beef tongue and cuts of beef etc. great selection of vegetables. We love the white soup and the mala spicy. My only issue is for kids they charge by height so even though my 4 year just want to eat some udon noodles they charge 20$ cause he’s over 32” tall. There should really be a separate price for kids based on age not height because a 3-5 year old is not eating close to 20$ worth of hotpot

On March 5th, my two roommates and myself had hotpot at Ibasaw in Malden. Unfortunately, the experience was far less than great. The food came out of the broth slimey, the mushroom broth was flavorless, the staff was pushy and were all but rushing us out the door at the end of the night. That night the three of us had all started to feel very sick and were stuck in the bathroom for hours on end. Disappointing to spend almost $200 just to have everyone end up sick. I myself ended up throwing up the next day from the food poisoning and had to miss a day of work due to it. We will not be coming back to Ibasaw again.

I love this place. This is a gem for all you can eat hot pot in Boston area and price wise you cant really beat it. On top of being open late, they also offer sushi menu.
I have been coming here for years and the owners and the staff are always welcoming. The broth variety is amazing and you can do single or split flavors.
For those that never been too hot for I would suggest to bring somebody that has the knowledge how it works but it’s very simple and since the meet is very thin sliced, it really takes no time to make it perfect. If you do not like to cook for yourself and rather be served, just stick with the sushi menu. Thank you to all of the Ibasaw crew for being who you are.

After a few hours at Boda Borg I brought a group of girls to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Throughout the entire meal the wait staff was wonderfully attentive, helping the girls order, showing them how to cook hot pot, and regularly checking on us to see if we wanted to order more food. The meal was delicious and a great price for all you can eat. I love further away where they charge for every item ordered and it can get pricey quickly. When the staff learned it was my daughter’s birthday they surprised her with a song, cake, and a great lit up birthday sign. It was such a fun experience for all of us and I’d highly recommend it. Great place to enjoy as a group!

Had this on my list to try since 2020. Finally got around to it. The sat us right away. The selections for the hot pot buffet were plentiful. They didn’t skimp on the potions. They refilled the broth whenever needed. You get to put your own spaces for dipping together and there is a wall with suggestions. Would highly recommend.

Last night, we had the opportunity to visit this restaurant for the first time. If you have previous experience with hot pot, the process is quite straightforward. The order sheet was provided on our table, allowing us to make our selections. Both the broth and the food arrived shortly after we placed our order. The sliced beef and crab stood out as particularly fresh and delicious. Although it appeared that they might have been understaffed last night, our waitress did an admirable job. She was friendly and promptly attended to our requests. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and an enjoyable dinner for us.
