Great family restaurant! Our waitress Sandi was absolutely phenomenal. We had a large party in an area we reserved and she kept up with us all. Food came out quickly and she always made sure our cups were filled. They also accommodated us with the cake we brought in and they served it out on plates for us. Definitely recommend this place.

Our first visit to this restaurant was a success! Many locals all greeting each other and the staff, made for a very friendly atmosphere. Service was quick, they offer pick-up/take-out and the foods were delicious. We were quite surprised by all the options available. Definitely something to please EVERYONE! My husband got the Baked Scrod Boat – it was huge and very good. I got the New York Sirloin Steak and as advertised it was “grilled to perfection”.
We look forward to going back and sampling more dishes.

We hadn’t been here in a couple of years . Their food, thoug beautifully prepared and presented was too spicy for us to tolerate. This visit was an eye opening experience! Food was delicious! There was 3 of us. Each enjoyed their dinner. The former level of spiciness was non existent. It was a very enjoyable experience. Unfortunately with a glass of wine at $12 it’s a no go for our budget. With it’s extensive menu you are to see something you will enjoy

I love the ‘old word style ‘ of the resturant. High booths and check table cloth like, atmosphere. Friedclams and a side of pasta. Yum! Fresh bread with the seasoned oil to dip in. Service is personal and friendly.. price is good for what you get. I leave there, always wanting to tell somebody.

Absolutely amazing food!!! Service is outstanding The best Portuguese food in the area. The Paiella is a great dish. The Portuguese Steak and the Shrimp Mozambique is the best I ever had. The seafood rice is absolutely legendary. Probably every dish you order you won’t be disappointed. Even the rolls are amazing.

Food was great tasting, but our server was less than desirable. Inattentive, not friendly, forgot to give us the bill, never asked how our meal was, never offered coffee or dessert. It was our first visit here, and we mentioned it before we ordered. Her response was “yeah?” I had the Lobsterman’s Platter, which was supposed to come with 2 shrimp. I got one. I casually mentioned that I only got one, she said that’s all it comes with! Checked the menu again….she was incorrect. Evidently they must have been low on shrimp that day. My wife’s meal was supposed to come with scallops and shrimp over her Baked Stuffed scrod. A very ample serving of the bay scallops, but not any shrimp. Both meals were very good, along with the fresh rolls and Mozambique sauce! Maybe it was a bad day for the server. We will return.

1st off, walking into this restaurant the smell was out of this world!! You know the second that door opens that the food is going to be incredible!
We had no wait, we were shown right to a table.
The restaurant was decently full.
Waitress was over immediately to take our orders. We both got the Alive margarita which came out in a pint glass and was delicious!
We started with the stuffed mushrooms and I got a stuffie. Both were delicious!
For mains I got the Shrimp Zuppa and my love got the Bife A Portuguesea. Both were incredible!!
Service was some of the best ever and the food.. well go find out!! You’re going to be glad you did! This has been on our list of places to try for quite some time. I’m so glad we finally made the trip!! We have leftovers for a whole other meal too! We will be back!!

First time here on a recommendation from a friend, I enjoyed my meal and service here for sure and would definetly come back and give this place another try.
My gripe with the place would be the “signature Mozambique sauce” although I did still think it was good it’s really loaded with garlic and seasonings and comes as a borderline paste. I thought well maybe it was just the free sauce they issue but the shrimp Mozambique came out the same. Alot of flavor but for me in my opinion for what it’s worth tasted good but not for me and the waitress didn’t offer us any desserts or additional drinks the bill just casually showed up and probably missed out on a few more drinks. That’s my John Taffer rule, close out the table before I’m done well now I’m done.
Other then that I really enjoyed my experience and recommend enjoying this place I wanted to give it 3 an a half stars but 4 is safe. Food is pretty good.

You’re not going to find a better restaurant like this around here. They don’t really advertise it, but they excel in seafood. Where else can you get prime rib, steamers, lobster, escargot, snail salad, caçoila, espresso and flan… *Everyday*?
