We were greeted and seated promptly. However, in 20 minutes, no one came to our table to introduce themselves or even take a drink order. We left the restaurant, walking by the host who did not even offer an explanation or question why we were leaving without placing an order. Extremely disappointing experience.

Would give zero stars if I could. We were there the day after Thanksgiving around 12:30. We were seated and our drink order was taken. The drinks were brought out and we ordered our food and then waited and waited. An actual HOUR went by and no food was brought out. The waitress (Megan) never stopped back at the table to apologize for the wait (not blaming her, just was expecting an update of sorts). Manager no where to be found. After a hour, I stopped the waitress and asked how much longer and she said oh it should be coming soon, they were short staffed, people called off, etc. Which is totally fine but why not give people the heads up when they come in? No one goes to Bob Evans expecting to wait over a hour for their food. The woman sitting across from us that came in right before us finally got sick of waiting and got up and left. We waited for about 15 more minutes after asking how much longer and we got up to leave as well. The people behind us were walking out when we got to our car. Just crazy if you ask me. It wasn’t really even that busy. What’s funny is a couple of ladies across from us got their food within 20ish minutes as well as a gentleman and his daughter. They waited maybe a total of 15 mins. So terrible service and I won’t be coming back to this location. Also let your cook know he shouldn’t be eating in front of the little window looking out into the dining room. Insane to see him back there eating while working.

Me and my husband ate at the Bob Evans in Elyria Ohio. We did a pick up order on Feb 19th for breakfast around 8am. They did not give the bacon with one of the meals, and the oatmeal did not have the nuts, and berries that was suppose to come with it, never called mistakes happen. Went inside for breakfast on Feb 22nd at same location. I ordered breakfast my hash browns were burnt, my husband got the fish sandwich with Mac and cheese, fish was burnt, no tater sauce or cabbage on the sandwich. So I asked for a menu to make sure what should be on the sandwich, I hear the waitress tell manger, the fish wasn’t made right and the cooks wouldn’t listen. Manger came over and asked we told her the problem she said oh well when they made cole slaw they forgot to leave some out I will go open a bag for you if you want it. She literally brought my husband a bowl of Cole slaw mix.
However our waitress was amazing and very on top of things. She was very pleasant and friendly and attentive. The kitchen and manger need to do better.

Let’s start with our awesome waitress Elizabeth she was fast and kind she took all of our orders fast and correctly. Then a shout out to the chefs!!! My honey buttered chicken with eggs was the best chicken I’ve ever had it was so tender and moist done to perfection!!! My children all loved there breakfasts too… Thanks for an awesome breakfast.

Dined in on Saturday feb 21. Wasn’t impressed with the plate I received. I got the country fried steak. and it took about 70 mins for my family to be served. BUTTT im here to leave a review for the ladies thay were serving that night. Because they were polite, and they were hustling. They knew they were behind. Still gave 100% effort.

We visited the Elyria location for our first time at Bob Evans. The atmosphere was your standard cozy, country, family-friendly food joint. We both had breakfast for dinner and it was so good, we were stuffed by the time the check came. Tracy our server was wonderful and kind and went above and beyond for us. You can tell she loves her job. Definitely a great place to go for a date night or to bring your family for a nice meal.

The food was pretty decent for a breakfsst diner atmosphere. Get Carla as your waitress. She’s warm and welcoming. I was tired and cranky and she was a kind smile that I needed traveling a long way from home. Sometimes kindness is really all you can ask for with your meal and in 2025 its sorely needed. Ordered off the app, Ordered the 2 country fried steak dinner. Mashed potatoes and country gravy, coleslaw ,green beans and biscuits. Picked up and restaurant was empty at about 6:45 . Drove home (less than 5 minutes) checked the food no Mashed potatoes and everything was cold. Tried calling was put on auto hold for 10 minutes and no answer. Called back and still the same. No answer
Probably won’t go back again. I guess that’s why no one was eating when I picked up my food
