Just OK NY Calzones.
For over 7 years I’ve been warned off trying this place, as my supervisor has said that they weren’t all that great. He’s pretty smart, so I listened, but that was 7 years ago and now I’m running out of new spots to try. So in I went.
Ordered over the phone, going with the Garlic Knots, an “almost everything” Calzone, and a Garden Salad to add in some ruffage. Coming to just slightly over $30, which turned out to be pretty fair considering the sheer girth of that calzone.
Back home I tried to knots to start, and, was disappointed. No buttery sheen, nary a hint of garlic, and a smattering of parmesan that added little to nothing in the flavor department. Even the tomato water they included to dip into, yes, tomato water (because there was nothing marinara about that dip), did a whole lot of nothing to improve them. Very sad.
The salad was about the same, it existed to full a role, and did nothing to improve upon that. A more vinegary Italian dressing would help, as it stands, the current one is too lite and oily to do anything besides help coat the greens.
Putting all that aside, the final bit, the calzone, which I added in pepperoni, ham, sausage, meatballs, green bell peppers, garlic, onions, and broccoli. It felt pretty heavy, had a nice texture to the bread, and inside was layered very nicely. I started from the mid section after a cross cut, and at first, it was pretty darn good. Lots of ricotta, which blended well with the 4 types of meats, and the other cheeses stuck all the veggies together with the bread for a full serving in each bite. However, towards the ends of the crescent moon shaped calzone, and the toppings waned, the cheeses lessened, and all there was left was that baked bread. In the end, resulting in a pretty mediocre calzone.
Overall, nice service, acceptable prices, lackluster food. 3.5 out of 5.

Best pizza and baked Ziti Romano in the area. I love the modern look and cleanliness of the restaurant as well. When my daughter wanted a slice of just cheese pizza she made a super small pie just for her.

Well… Ordered a pizza that had an additional topping not in the description, raw vegetables thrown on top and it was under done. Will not be re-ordering from this establishment. Staff seemed nice but pizza is definitely not good.

I love ny location in Ballston Spa recently be ame Empire pizza and changed tgeir sauce so we stopped going there
We tried this I Love NY location and it wasn’t what we used to get at the other place and the Buffalo Chicken was way too spicy, again not what we were used to. So we won’t be back. Service was good here and a clean store either way.

I am from West chazy ny had to go to a doctor’s appointment near albany today on the way back I wanted some pizza so I seen this place on Google Maps out of all the other pizza places and I had to try it out and it was pretty good pizza. I loved my supreme pizza I ordered

First time ordering from this place. Got the tomato, bacon, ranch pizza and an order of garlic bread with cheese. I asked if the garlic bread came with a side of marinara sauce or if I had to add it on and the person I spoke with said it was included. Pizza was great and so was the garlic bread with cheese but they forgot the marinara sauce. Minus that glitch I would still recommend and will order from there again.

Glad I stopped in for a couple slices and a can of Coke (about$9.50 total). The slices were large. Ordered a sausage slice and pepperoni and mushroom slice. Solid pizza, no complaints. The best part is the crust. Amazing. Thin with a nice crunch to it and great taste. Some of the best I’ve had in quite some time. 1/I prefer a little more sauce on my pizza but I will definitely stop again.

Me and my girlfriend order food all over Malta as we work in the area. We decided to give this one a go because it was close. We both got “chicken alfredo”.Firstly when we asked the driver if BOTH dinners were in the bag he responded “oh I don’t know I’m not even the delivery driver I was just asked to drop this off as a favor”. After I managed to convice her to atleast TRY it we both took a bite from the same container only to be dissatisfied. The noodles tasted like butter and garlic with parm sprinkled on top. No sauce of any kind and the chicken was simple tenders placed on top. We called to complain and were forced to bring the food back AFTER WORK so they could verify we did not eat it and then said we would see a refund within a few days. I’m not holding my breathe.
