My wife and I used to frequent here years ago when we lived closer. Today we stopped for lunch while we were in the area. After years of not eating here everything was just as good as we remembered. We were the first ones in and were greeted and sat right away. We did not try the buffet even though it looked good, we were more interested in trying food off the menu. For lunch portions were the right size, even had a some leftovers to bring home. Stop by next chance you get!!!

Yall I think I found one of the best italian restaurants in Charlotte(ish) area. Mama Ricotta’s was ranked high for a while but I fear I have a new number one spot contender now due to price point and quantity and quality.
This unassuming strip mall italian restaurant named Bambini had some of the best fettucine alla carbonara I’ve ever had and that’s coming from someone who’s been to Italy. The staff are definitely italian or resemble it and know what the hell they’re cooking in the back. The prosciutto was so tender and soft. My bf ordered some chicken, rice, and something combo from the chicken section and the chicken melted in our mouths.
Our server Marco was entertaining and hilarious. We left and forgot our leftovers but he knew how much we loved the food and saved it for us without us knowing. We were 20 mins on the road when we realized and turned around. That said a lot- because as a server myself, I’ve thrown people’s food away when they hadn’t come back in minutes.
For $15, you get a HUGE plate of pasta, salad or soup, and a drink!! We had to take leftovers home. they also have lunch buffets for $9-15 (the specific price is shown on their google map photos in other peoples pics)
Go try this place!!

Food use to be good, but now it’s one day to the next if it is. Wait staff has the impression that they really don’t need to serve you and if they do you should feel honored that they did. You need to keep a watch on the sanitation score which is usually in the low 90s or at least it was 2 months ago, never again.

My Mom & I were passing through town & decided spaghetti sounded good for a late dinner. It was around 8:45 pm on Monday night & I Bambini was open. We were immediately greeted when we entered the door & taken to our table. Everything was so clean…white table clothes on all the tables. Drink orders taken & drinks along with a basket of bread with butter was delivered to our table. The menu is huge. So many choices! We had a wonderful waiter named Victor who helped us navigate the menu. We ordered spaghetti with meat sauce & a salad. It was probably some of the best spaghetti we’ve ever had!! Victor periodically made sure our drinks were topped off, asked if we needed more bread, kept our table cleared, etc. Victor is so nice & knowledgeable about the menu items as well. He is an A+++ waiter & made us feel like we were in a Michilin Star restaurant!! Highly recommend I Bambini & will definitely be back when I’m in the Mooresville area.

I have been wanting to try since I found out they have a lunch buffet. I was not disappointed at all. I think I tried everything except the salad part and loved every bit of it. I will definitely be back.

Traveling on 95, found this great spot. Service was faster than expected for a sit down restaurant. All of the food was delicious and quality. Menu extensive, prices reasonable. Pleased all ages in our group, even the vegetarian.

We have always loved I Bambini! We used them as our wedding rehearsal caterer, and it was great! We picked up the food at the restaurant and it was super easy! We had house salad, chicken Parmesan, eggplant Parmesan, spaghetti, mini cannolis, and bread. 10/10 would recommend!

Gross. This place has a score of an 88. That speaks for how dirty they are. We did not realize this until after we were leaving. Shame on us. Had I seen that. We would have left. The service was not as great as you would expect in such establishment. They definitely need a revamp. The food was ok. Not disgusting but they could make sure their wine glasses are clean before they bring them out. We will not be back.

Wonderful authentic Italian cuisine. Perfect.
The minestrone soup was wonderful as well as a salad and the bread is crusty and warm served with garlic, butter and basil.
The entrees that we ate were well done. Served crackly and we’re having very delicious. There is more kinds of red sauce than just the marinara sauce. It seems like every dish has their own different variation of tomato sauce. That’s how we knew that it was not just something that came out of a can.
Save room for desserts (we didn’t) as you’ll want to end your meal with an espresso, coffee or a nice slice of the cheesecake or a fine cannoli.
