We were a little skeptical about grabbing lunch at a college bar, but we love to support local. We were pleasantly surprised to find the place was clean and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We ordered the chicken vindaloo and tandoori chicken platters, which did not disappoint. Generous portions, full of flavor. We were fortunate to meet the chef, who is from New Delhi. 10% off for first time customers. Definitely worth checking out.

They recently added food to their menu and everything is SO YUMMY.
The atmosphere is different and fun and you have indoor and outdoor seating options.
The service is phenomenal! Everyone has been great but especially want to brag on Jamie and Grace! Both are so nice and welcoming and can answer all of your questions!
I recommend the Buffalo Chicken Naan pizza!

The indian food is SO GOOD! I’ve been waiting for years for Cape to have a good order of butter chicken, and Hypnotic has it. Very generous portions, I can get two meals out of it for $20!

Don’t sleep on this place!! We’ve been craving butter chicken and tikka masala since moving to Cape, and Hypnotic hired a chef trained in India to create their new menu, and we are overjoyed! The butter chicken, naan, and mango lassi were absolutely delicious and we can’t wait to go back!
Details: We went on a Wednesday around 5:30 pm and had the entire patio to ourselves. We had so much fun playing bags with our 3 year old while we waited. In fact, our 3 year old had so much fun playing that my husband and I could actually eat and chat together (parents, you know the rarity). Staff went above and beyond the whole time. Yes, this is a night club during later hours, but it is an awesome venue for anyone to eat during the day. We will be back soon!

We tried the Butter Chicken, Tikka Masala, garlic naan, and the fish sandwich. The chicken dishes were flavorful and moist, but both lacked the heat that was noted on the menu—especially the Tikka Masala, which leaned more sweet than spicy. The garlic naan was tasty and fresh. My husband had the fish sandwich, and while it tasted okay, the fish itself reminded us of something you’d get at McDonald’s. That sandwich definitely needs an upgrade to match the rest of the menu. We’ll come back for a second try and ask for extra spice next time.

Service was great. Lexi and Tiggy were kind and phenomenal. Food came out quick and was delicious, so props to the chef. I got the butter chicken sandwich and it was a great Indian fusion meets Cape Girardeau. It’s a great starter for people trying to dip their toes in trying something new. It’s a great place to grab a quick bite to eat when working downtown. While I’m not big on the bar scene, I will definitely be coming back for lunch!

The food is the best one in town unbelievably good and wonderful service. Great Indian food. The only thing that I think turns people off is the name of their relation with the other business so I might suggest to promote more of this as a restaurant.
